Chapter 34: Olivia

I wake up lying in Lucas' arms in my bed. Oh thank god. It wasnt a dream. We have a plan to defeat thanos, I can spend some time with my old team, and Lucas and i are finally together. Yeah. Im happy this wasn't just a dream. I feel him move a little behind me. I am about to turn around to face him when i hear a soft voice in my ear.

"Morning beautiful." Lucas whispers.

I roll over so our faces are only inches apart. "Morning." I reply as i reach up a hand into his thick curly brown hair and pull him into a kiss.

"Alright. Everyone wake up! Early rise this morning. We've got a lot of training and planning to do. Lets go!" Comes a voice from the hall. I slowly pull myself up. Lucas groans and holds onto my waist.

"No... Stay here. Just a few more minutes." He groans.

I pry my hand free of his and his arm drops back down onto the bed. "Im sorry baby. But i have to go see what this is all about. Then we're both getting up. Okay?"

"Yes ma'am." I smile as he says this turn back. I plant a kiss on his lips before heading out into the hall. There i see sammi standing with a megaphone in her hand talking to seraphie. Im trying to figure out what they're talking about. I walk over to ask.

"Hey guys. Whats up?"

"Nothi--" Seraphie starts.

"SERAPHIE SLEPT IN EATHAN'S ROOM LAST NIGHT!" Sammi exclaims.

"Okay? So? Me and Lucas slept together last night." I laugh. "So who cares what she did or didn't do last night."

"Yeah. Exactly. And as i keep telling you. Nothing like that happened. We just talked. Honest." Seraphie says.

"Okay? We good here?" I ask. Both girls nod. "Okay. Now back to the bigger issues. Why am i being pulled out of bed at 6:00 a.m.? Im tired sammi. Let me and lucas sleep!"

"Sleep... Sure." She laughs.

"Oh shut the hel up!" I laugh. I punch her lightly in the shoulder.

"Whatever. Im not changing the time. Be at breakfast in ten minutes. Lets go." She says lazily and walks off towards the kitchen. I zombily walk towards my room again.

"Come on lucas. Get up. Breakfast time. Lets go." I say. I yawn loudly.

"Come on liv. Like you've had enough sleep. You're practically passed out just standing there." He says.

"That makes no sense at all..." I interrupt.

"Just shut up and get some rest. Ill explain to the oth--" he says.

"No... I just need coffee. A few vats and ill be fine." I mutter. I slip out of my big t-shirt and into a grey baggy hoodie. I pull on a pair of comfy black shorts underneath. "See i can get dressed. Now you do it too and come meet me at the kitchen."

"If you wait a sec ill come with you." He laughs. He slips on a tight fitting white t-shirt and a pair of cargo pants. "Alright. Now lets go." He says, taking my hand and leading me out to the kitchen.

We walk into the kitchen and i grab a box of honey nut Cheerios. Lucas pours some into a bowl for himself and i keep rest of it in the box to eat from there. Why use dishes when you don't have to.

We walk out into the cafeteria area to see everyone else sitting and eating breakfast.

I look across the team. Its crazy how much everything has changed since we first started the team. I mean. Looking around now we have like twelve people. In the beginning it was just four friends. The we met patrick, all of our parents were brutally murdered, peter died. We met seraphie, we met Josée and Christena, they both died. Followed by patrick. Tye died and came back. We met jeffery and Lucas. We got reunited with my old team. Im together with lucas. Its crazy. I was thanos' slave/daughter for gods' sake! AND I'm the queen of an entire realm. And I'm only 194. Things are much different now than the were ten months ago.

"Look who it is! The lazy butts. Welcome. We've been waiting for you to wake up." Tye laughs.

"Morning guys. Whats up?" Lucas laughs.

"What happened to my tacos... I didnt see my stuff in the kitchen... Sammi?" I ask.

"Dont look at me. I dont want your shitty tacos." She says.

"Whatever. Just warning you all though. When i find out who did this youll pay!" I exclaim "...for more tacos from taco bell..." I laugh.

I sit down at the table in front of alex and sammi. Leo quickly slides in right next to sammi.

"Oh shit!" I shout.

"Whats wrong?" Lucas asks.

"I forgot my coffee!" I mutter. I prepare to stand back up.

"Here ill get it." Lucas says.

"Aww thanks!" I exclaim. I kiss him. "The machines pretty easy. Just press coffee, then press sugar three times and creme three times."

"Really liv. A triple triple?" Sammi asks. "You're a heart attack waiting to happen."

"Oh shut up sammi" i laugh. "Just make sure you don't get decaf!" I call after lucas.

"Yeah. Shell implode without her caffine." Sammi laughs. "Ah. How did you survive your stay with thanos?"

"No clue." I giggle.

Once Lucas is off at the coffee machine alex pounces on his opportunity. "So whats the deal with you two? Sleep in the same room last night eh? Yeah. I know you did because i was stuck in his room last night."

"Okay..." I say.

"So how close are you two? He good to you? You had sex? You love him?" Alex blurts.

"Whoa! Whoah! Whoah!" I cut alex off. "Me and lucas only met a few days ago. And yeah. Were close. We haven't technically said what our relationship is but given that were sleeping together id say were pretty close."

"By sleeping together do you mean sharing abed or dancing in the night?" Alex asks.

"Ill let you stir there for a bit and leave you wondering" i laugh. Lucas comes back with my coffee. "Thank you so much!" I say between gulps of coffee.

"Holy crap you drink that fast." Sammi laughs. "Im going to go grab myself one too."

"No!" All of the avengers shout simultaneously.

"Sammi. No caffeine for you. Okay?" Tye says sternly. "You're energetic enough. We don't need you getting so hyper you piss your suit. Right?"

"That was one time!" Sammi hisses.

"Anyways... Lets get to training. Everyone go change into something comfy and practical for working out and lets meet in the training room in 10. Okay?" Lucas interrupts. The group gibes out a series of okays and sounds goods and slowly disperses. I finish my coffee an toss the mug into the dishwasher. Since I'm the last one out i press start and begin the cleaning cycle. Then i go off to my room. I see lucas already in there getting into a pair of shield issue grey sweatpants and a blue tight fitting T-shirt.

I throw on a pair of leggings and a sports crop top. We head out to the training room to begin  training for the day. I open up the door to the training room with Lucas directly behind me. We walk into the room, where all the rest of the team is already waiting for us.

"Alright guys, come over here. Lets work out our basic set of what we need to do today." I say. All of the team comes in towards me and gathers around. "Okay, so, were going to need to train induvidually as well as run through our plan. So that means we need a model of thanos. Seraphie? Could you project one over there in all of our heads?"

"Yeah. Sure." She says. Instantly we all see a very realistic thanos moving in the centre of the room.

"Okay. So lets get started working through the plan. Were going to start by attaccking, then ill make the energy tunel for lucas to run through, then jeffery and eathan will shift into thanos to distract him while lucas grabs the gauntlet and brings it back to me." I explain. "Makes sense?" The group nods. "Alright then. Lets get started."
