Destroying the Avengers [Book 3]

Chapter 20: Tye

"And here we are. Your room." I say to jeffery.

"Thanks. This all means alot to me, you guys taking me in and all." He says.

"Its all good man. Its kind of what we do." I laugh.

"Well we took in seraphie, patrick, christena, josee, and now you." I say.

"Ahh." He laughs.

"I think its about time for the burial. We should go." I say. Jeffery nods and follows me.

We arrive out back of the base. A body sized hole is dug in the ground. I watch as seraphie telepathically moves his body into the grave. Josee lays the dirt back on top and grows some gold and green flowers on top of the fresh dirt.

Slowly everyone starts to head back inside the base. I follow the girls with jeffery beside me. We walk into the control room. I take a seat at the back table with jeffery and seraphie.

Seraphie leans over. "You dont even know how happy i am to see you alive again. I love you bro."

"Love you too sis." I say. She punches my shoulder then we get back to fucusing on the meeting.

"Alright. We need a plan. Whats next?" Sammi asks.

"Well. We could... um... i dont know?" Seraphie says.

"Hey did you guys know about my new powers? I can shoot out energy pulses!" Olivia says.

"Yeah. You can fly too." I say.

"Really?" She asks.

"Yeah. And trust me, we know about your powers. Thats how you 'killed' me." I laugh.

"Yeah. Crispy tye over here got a little burnt." Josée laugh.

"Shut up." I laugh.

"But seriously guys. What are we going to do?" Olivia asks.

"Well." Jeffery says, standing up slowly. "We know where thanos is now... and i know my way around his palace really well. We could always sneak up there and blow it up?"

"Thats brilliant! Jeffery youre a genious! I could kiss you right now! But wed damn better get ready for this batte. We need to start drawing up plans. Jeffery were going to need some rough sketches of the palace's interior." Olivia commands "Hydra triplets?"

"Yeah...?" Seraphie asks.

"Go get us explosives. Lots of them." Olivia says.

"Right on it. Lets go girls." Seraphie says. The three of them go sprinting off.

"Sammi, tye. Youre with me. We need a plan to get there, get around, and get the hell out." Olivia says.

"Hey guys. Sorry to interrupt. But wheres the paper and pencils for the layout of the base?" Jeffery asks.

"No need for those." I say. Olivia taps a few buttons on a computer screen. A large table with a projectable holo screen raises out of the ground.

"Use this." Olivia says.

"Right away." He says. He shape shifts into DaVinci.

"Really?" Sammi asks.

"What? I want it to be precise!" He says. We all laugh then get back to the planning.

After a few tiedious hours everything is set. The explosives are ready to be placed and can all be armed remotely. The layout of the building is drawn out and jeffery has transformed back into his normal self.

We all gather together around the map. Olivia and sammi are drawing in red circles wherever an explosive eeds to be placed. There are twenty-one in total. Three for each of us to place.

"Alright. Everybody to the armory. Were going to need weapons." Olivia instructs. We all walk out there. Olivia waves her hand and her classic red dress and golden battle armour apears on her.

"When did you learn that?" I ask.

"I really dont know... i guess its just reflex from with thanos." She laughs. We walk through the doors and i head over to grab my shield and my guns.

I shove the guns into my two holsters and sling my shield onto my back. Josee and christena load up with some guns and throwing knives. Seraphie does the same. Sammi calls her newest suit to her and shoots off a few practice shots. Olivia holds out her hand for he hammer. She puts it down beside her and grabs some daggers. She straps one to her thigh and one to her upper arm.

I pass jeffery some of patricks old asgardian armour. I figure hes used to it because hes asgardian.

"Thanks." He says.

"Now you can pick out any weapon in the room. Go ahead." I say.

He walks over to the archery station and grabs a newly modified version of haweyes bow. He slings a quiver, that is loaded with about 25 arrows, over his shoulder. It is on a rotation,so whenever he pulls one out, another one moves into place. He can also reload it with old arrows as he goes.

"Some of the arrows are black tipped. Those are the normal ones. The blue tipped disperse an electrical charge. The red tipped ones explode and the yellow tipped ones are poison laced." I explain.

"Cool. Thanks." He says.

"No problem." I reply.

We all move together into the centre of the room. Each of us has three fist sozed explosives with us.

"Ready avengers?" Olivia asks. We all nod. She pulls out her transpor seed, ready to crack it. "Alright then, lets go."
