Nicholas's pov
Ever since Eric was taken away, there's been a shift between us. Jaime still comes to my bed, willingly spreading his legs for me, but his eyes are empty and the rare smiles that used to grace his lips have vanished completely. In desperation, I allowed him to spend a few minutes with the pups. He refused at first, thinking it was some kind of trick, but when I led him to the room and he heard the pups barking, he rushed inside, staring at the pups in awe as tears flowed down his cheeks when he realized that all of our pups were alive and well. Turning to me, he let a grateful smile cross his lips as he bowed respectfully.
"Thank you, Nicholas."
"Go in and meet them, you only have a few minutes before you go back."
Nodding, Jaime slowly made his way over to them as if he feared they would disappear if he got too close. Finally he was kneeling in front of the pups, who immediately rushed over to him falling over each other to get into his arms.
"My babies . . . I missed you so much."
The pups yelped and chirped, happy to see their mother.
I watched them playing, a warm feeling inside my chest, but I pushed it aside and cleared my throat, catching Jaime's attention.
"It's time to go."
"Please, can't I stay just a little while longer?"
"No. I've already relented enough, now get up."
Letting out a whimper, he slowly stood up and made his way over to me. I quickly led him upstairs, where he curled up in the middle of the bed, a sad smile on his face.
"They're so beautiful."
"Just like their mother."
I joined him on the bed, lifting his chin and brushing a gentle kiss across his lips.
"If you continue to behave, I'll let you see them again."
"What do you want me to do?"
"Take off your clothes."
Nodding, he started to unbutton his shirt.
"Turn around first."
He hesitated for only a second, not wanting to turn his back on me, but quickly did what I said, his fingers pulling the buttons on his shirt free and letting it slide off his slender shoulders to fall to the ground.
"Nic-Nicholas are . . . are you going to hurt me?"
I didn't answer and he nodded his head before continuing to remove his clothes. I sat on my haunches, staring at the beautiful curves and dips of his back and hips as he stood shivering in front of me, waiting for me to say something; anything that would put him at ease, but I refuse to offer him any comfort. A slow cruel smile stretched my muzzle as I stood and silently padded closer to him, giving him no warning of what was about to happen.
"Nicholas?"
He started to turn, but before he could see me behind him, I leapt on him, spreading his legs and thrusting inside of him before he could even scream.
"Why? Why?"
I growled with pleasure as his insides squeezed around me, his struggles forcing more of me inside and his whimpers making me more excited.
"Please . . . Please stop!"
Growling again, I pressed one of my claws against his neck in warning, immediately silencing him. Finally feeling like he had enough, I opened our link speaking into his mind angrily.
