I'm trying to keep up a brave front, but I know what's about to happen, Alpha Nicholas came to my cell personally to tell me my punishment; as soon as the mating ritual is finished, I'm to be taken in front of the pack and publicly beaten for defying the leader . . . but I know that's not the real reason for the severity of his actions, one still loyal to my husband have come by my cell to let me know about Jaime and after hearing the reports, I've come to realize that this punishment has more to do with keeping him in line than avenging the Alpha's honor . . . that's why I've decided that I will not cry out . . . I will stay strong for Jaime or be killed in the attempt.
