I'd been right- my phone and Facebook had been blown up with messages. I'd gotten a ton of calls, but the only one I'd answered was Nila's. She'd understood it all, and was relieved that I'd finally figured it out. When I'd asked her what that meant, she said that pretty much everyone was certain we loved each other; we just hadn’t figured it out yet. And boy, was she right.

We spent all Saturday with each other, and it was so much fun. Sure, I'd gone on plenty of dates with him, and I hung out with him all the time at school and at the games and such, but this was different. It was a really, really good different though.

I was getting ready on Monday morning, and I was kind of nervous about the swarm that would engulf me when I arrived. After I curled my hair, I slipped on a pretty navy tank; it was plain, except for the lace detailing at the neckline. I had on my dark wash jeggings. My make-up was prettier and more elaborate than usual, though people could expect this almost daily from me now. It's not that I hadn't always looked pretty before- I had always worn exceptional make-up, boyfriend or not. I just wanted to look really pretty for Cole. I had sparkly gold swept across my eyelids, I had black eyeliner on, and my eyes were framed with thick, long black lashes. My bronzer gave me a subtle shimmer, and my complexion looked flawless (which it was). My cheeks were faintly pink, but that wasn’t because of make-up; they always looked like that. I finished with a light pink MAC lip-gloss.

I saw Cole's car pull into my driveway, and was giddy to see him. I slid on my nude Steve Madden flats, pulled on my auburn cardigan, and stepped in front of my mirror.

My hair fell in perfect ringlets all around my shoulders and down my back; my bangs were clipped aside. The curls looked soft, and made me look sweet, taking the sultriness down in my make-up. The over-all effect of my make-up was wow. My outfit was cute, and welcoming to fall, which was just around the corner. The burgundy of my sweater made my tan and my hair pop. I looked really good, and I was proud.

I grabbed my bag and ran down the stairs.

"Bye mom!" I said, landing a quick kiss on her cheek.

"Bye, Bekka. You look very pretty today," she said.

I smiled at her, "Thanks!" and I hurried towards the door.

"Good luck!" she called after me.

"Thanks!" I said again, and I closed the door behind me.

The day before I had told her everything that happened and my worries about Monday. She was happy for me.

I walked over to his car and climbed in the passenger seat. He smiled at me, and my heart skipped a beat.

    "Hi," I said, smiling.

    "Hey," he replied.

I leaned over and kissed his cheek. "How are you?" I asked.

He smiled brighter. "Great now," he said.

    I giggled.

"I missed you," he said as we started down the road.

"You just saw me Saturday night," I pointed out, ignoring the way my heart fluttered.

    He shrugged. "So?"

I laughed. "I missed you, too," I said.

"So a ton of people I don’t even know have been blowing up my phone since Saturday morning," he said.

I grimaced. "Somebody- most likely Ashleigh- has been giving out your number," I said.

An amused smile came to his lips. "Really?"
