Chapter 9

Sungjin's POV

"MiA noona! Jae hyung!" Dowoon called out the moment we saw her and Jaehyung at the hospital corridor. "Where's noona? How is she? What happened?!" Dowoon panted while I was shocked. Did something happen to Sowoon? I thought and looked at MiA and Jaehyung. "Don't worry guys. Sowoon is fine and resting now. She can be discharged today." MiA patted Dowoon on the shoulder and continued, "Sowoon fainted at work earlier and according to the doctor, it was probably because she overworked and felt down lately. Did something happen between you both, Sungjin?" MiA looked at me as I scratched my nape, unsure of how to answer her. "Come on, let's go in!" Jaehyung said as we entered the ward one by one.

Dowoon sat on the chair beside Sowoon's bed and started sobbing. Just as we were about to go to Dowoon and comfort him, Sowoon woke up and patted Dowoon's head.

Sowoon's POV

I woke up and saw Dowoon weeping. "Stop crying. Noona's fine now baby boy!" I smiled and patted Dowoon's head. "Noona! You gave me a shock! I was so worried about you!" He looked up and hugged me tightly. "How do you feel Sowoon?" MiA and Jaehyung asked and came up to me. "I'm fine... but... what happened? Why am I here?" I looked around and stopped as I saw Sungjin, and turned back to MiA and Jaehyung. "You fainted in the kitchen when I was about to leave so Jae and I brought you here." MiA explained. "Sorry about that. You guys go for your date then! I'm fine now!" I smiled. "Are you sure? We can stay!" Jaehyung asked with a concerned look. "Go ahead hyung! Sungjin hyung and I will be here with noona!" Dowoon beamed. "Alright then, we'll make a move then. Take good care of Sowoon guys! Call me if you need anything." MiA and Jaehyung waved goodbye, leaving only me, Dowoon and Sungjin in the ward. Well, at least Dowoon is here, it won't be so awkward? Dowoon stood up as I thought. "Noona, I'll get you water! Hyung! Take care of noona!" Dowoon took the jug and left the ward.

Great! Thanks Dowoon. I mentally cursed Dowoon. "Let me help you!" Sungjin walked over and helped me sit up on the hospital bed.

Sungjin's POV

"Th- Thanks." Sowoon thanked me as I helped her up. "H- How have you been these days? I heard from MiA and Younghyun that you have been working overtime." I asked, leaving out the part where MiA mentioned that Sowoon's feeling down lately. "Y- Yeah, just busy lately. I guess that was why they said I overworked. How about you? I haven't seen you join the boys when they come to the cafe" Sowoon asked me back with a smile. "Kinda busy too. Composing and stuffs. Haven't had the time to join the boys too." I replied. The real reason I havent been with the boys after school... it was actually because they have been meeting at the cafe, and I need some time alone before facing Sowoon again. And with the fact that she now seemed closer to Younghyun, it hurt me even more and I have no idea why. I wanted to ask how are things between Sowoon and Younghyun but... I just didn't have the courage to. There was an awkward silence again.

"Noona! Have some water!" Dowoon came back just in the nick of time, pouring water into a cup for Sowoon. "Dowoon-ah, did you see the doctor when you were out?" I asked him. "Yeah, he said noona can head back home at 5pm, an hour from now." He checked his watch as I nodded and helped him pack Sowoon's stuffs.

The next day

Younghyun's POV

All of us were making our way towards the cafe after Dowoon told us what happened to Sowoon. "Oppa!" Youngweol nudged me. "Sowoon eonnie's fine, stop looking worried, okay?" I nodded and pat my little sister's head. She knows me best!

At the cafe

"Let me help you Sowoon!" I ran over to help her out. "It's okay Younghyun! I'm better already, go join the rest for lunch." She tried to stop me from helping but unable to because of MiA. "I nagged her for coming to work today but she still turned up. This girl just doesn't listen! Anyway, our boss gave her half-day off, could you help me send her home together with Dowoon and Sungjin, Younghyun?" I nodded to MiA's request as Sowoon sighed, defeated. "I'll wait for you to end work then!" I laughed and ruffled Sowoon's hair before joining the rest for lunch.

We (Dowoon, Sowoon, Sungjin, Youngweol and I) bidded goodbye with the rest and headed our way back home. After sending the Yoon siblings, we made our way home as well. "Sungjin, let's meet at the park after I send Youngweol home? I have something to talk to you about." I started making my way home with Youngweol after Sungjin nodded. "Oppa, you have decided don't you?" Youngweol asked and I nodded in response. She really knows me best! I thought.
