Chapter 10

Sungjin's POV

What did Younghyun wanna talk about? I pondered as I sat down on the bench, waiting for Younghyun. I started to think of the moment where Younghyun helped Sowoon when in the cafe earlier, when Younghyun held Sowoon's wrist and when Younghyun hugged Sowoon. My heart sank again. Suddenly, someone snapped his/her fingers in front of me. "What were you thinking about?" Younghyun sat beside me. I shook my head and questioned him about this meetup.

"Sungjin hyung, do you like Sowoon?" Younghyun asked. He smiled at my nod and gave a thumbs-up. "That's good. Let's have a fair competition then. What do you think?" Younghyun held out his palm as I highfived him, agreeing to the competition. "I'll see you around then! Bye Sungjin hyung!" Younghyun stood up and left. I felt better now knowing that Younghyun and Sowoon arent dating. I took out my phone and texted Sowoon.

I immediately stood up as I saw Sowoon running towards me. "Ya! Why are you running? You just got better today!" I touched her forehead and passed her the bottle of water I had. She drank a little and we sat down beside each other on the bench. Sowoon was smiling away, making me smile too. "Why are you smiling?" I asked and patted her head.

Sowoon's POV

"Noona! You just got discharged yesterday and suppose to rest! Noona!!" After receiving Sungjin's text, I ran out of the house, ignoring Dowoon's shout. As I sat down beside Sungjin, I couldnt help but smile. We havent been meeting each other for days, aside the hospital visit. Meeting just for a while at the park right now makes me happy. Seeing his smile made me happy too. "Nothing! Why did you want to meet though?" I answered his question. All of a sudden, Sungjin embraced me into a hug. "Sowoon-ah... sorry. I'm sorry for giving you the cold shoulder recently. Sorry." Sungjin started sobbing, I was about to hug him back but stopped upon hearing the next sentence. "I saw what happened the other day, Younghyun hugging you and thought both of you were dating. Therefore, I... I started giving you the cold shoulder treatment. But... from now onwards, I will stop giving you cold shoulder treatment I promise and ..." Sungjin released the hug and looked into my eyes. "I now know how I feel towards you. I'll start asking you out for dates, not those that Jaehyung and MiA arranged but real dates planned by me! You dont have to give me an answer right away and think about it first. Younghyun and I agreed to a fair competition, so give him a chance too! I dont wanna win from the start!" Sungjin laughed and wiped his tears away. "Eyyy! Dont be too confident Park Sungjin! You'll never know if Younghyun will win you. He's more good-looking than you, cooler than you and... taller than you!" I finished off, emphasizing TALLER and laughed. It felt good teasing him. "YA! YOON SOWOON!" He called out as I ran back home.

Younghyun's POV

"Whoa! Oppa! You look good today!" Youngweol remarked as I wore my shoes. "I've always look this good Kang Youngweol! Anyway, I gotta go! Enjoy your weekend movie date with Wonpil, Dowoon and Junhyeok! Bye!" I patted my sister's head and left the house.

"Oh! Sowoon-ah! Sorry I'm late!" I walked towards her. "Hey Younghyun! It's okay. Wow!" Sowoon paused as I looked at her, confused. "You look good today!" Sowoon remarked. "Come on! I look good everyday isnt it? Haha! Let's go in! Deadpool is starting!" I held Sowoon's hand and went into the theater together.

We went for dinner straight after the movie."Younghyun, can we go to the instrument shop after this?" Sowoon asked as I nodded. "Sure! Maybe you can play the guitar too! I've never seen you play it before!" I said, recalling Dowoon mentioned to us that his noona is good at playing the guitar. Dowoon even said she can play better than Jaehyung, earning a knock landing on his (Dowoon) head after that. I cheered as Sowoon agreed.

We alighted from the bus and walked home. "I'm tired! Thanks Younghyun! I havent had so much fun for some time!" Sowoon smiled, yawning a little. "Not a problem! I had fun too! Sowoon-ah..." I stopped in my tracks and turned to face Sowoon, holding her shoulders and looking into her eyes. I took a deep breath and continued, "Will you be my girlfriend?" I gulped nervously. To be honest, I'm not very confident but I decided to give it my all. Whatever her answer is, I'll accept it.
