Chapter 13

On the other side

Younghyun's POV

I took my phone, keys and the sandwiches I made and left the house to pick Sowoon up from her house. "Did you bring fruits, Sowoon-ah?" I patted her head as she smiled and nodded at me. "Let's go then!" I placed my arm on her shoulder and we made our way to Haeundae (beach located in Busan).

"Sowoon-ah," I spoke up while eating the sandwich as she hummed in response, "do you have plans to study again?" I asked and took another bite of my sandwich. "Yup. I've talked with MiA and we decided to study in the same school as you guys! We'll be going to your school the day after tomorrow for enrollment tests. If we pass, we'll be studying in the same school!" She smiled at me as I cheered. Ever since Dowoon's parents passed away, Sowoon quitted school and started working to support Dowoon and herself. MiA quitted school to help Sowoon with Dowoon's school fees.

Sowoon's POV

We chatted for hours and decided to head home. "Younghyun?" I mustered the courage in me and spoke up. Younghyun hummed in response and turned to me. "I- I..." "You've made up your mind, haven't you?" Younghyun said before I could finish my sentence. I nodded in response, and stopped on my tracks and looked down on the ground. "I get it. I wish you and Sungjin the best! If he bullies you, be sure to let me know, okay?" He stopped in his tracks and held my hands with a smile. "I'm sorry Younghyun. I-" Younghyun pulled me into a hug as I cried. "Don't be sorry. It's okay. Like I've said before, you've given me a chance, that is enough for me. Sowoon-ah, how about letting me protect you? As a friend and as a brother? What do you think?" He pulled away from the hug and wiped my tears with his thumb. "Younghyun-ah, thank you. Thank you so much!" I nodded and hugged him, crying once again. I'm sorry Younghyun. And... thanks for being by my side. I felt bad for hurting him, but thankful to have a friend or even a brother like him. I hugged him tighter and cried even harder as he patted my back, trying to calm me down.

Sungjin's POV

I closed my laptop after composing and laid on my bed, checking my phone. Has Sowoon told Younghyun about us? Is Younghyun okay? Should I tell Younghyun instead? I thought as my phone vibrated. I immediately sat up on my bed and unlocked my phone to see a message from Younghyun.

I hope Younghyun will find his true love soon! I cant help but feel bad towards him. And now... I need to find the right time to tell the rest about this.

MiA's POV

"Hey Dowoon! Sowoon!!" I waved to the Yoon siblings as they walked towards me and greeted me. It was the day for the enrollment test. Sowoon and I decided to go back to our studies, but since it has been a few years since we dropped out of school, we had to take the enrollment tests, which can gauge our level, which can also mean that we might have to start as a freshman like Youngweol or the same as Jae, Sungjin, Junhyeok and Younghyun, or in sophomore like Wonpil and Dowoon.

"MiA noona! Are you ready too?" I nodded in reply to Dowoon's question. "Jung MiA. Yoon Sowoon." A lecturer called out as we stood outside the staff room. "Good luck noonas! See you later!" Dowoon waved goodbye to us and headed to class. Sowoon and I followed the lecturer and got ready for the enrollment test.

Dowoon's POV

After bidding goodbye with noona and MiA noona, I waited for the hyungs and Youngweol in the locker room. "Dowoon oppa!" "Wow! Yoon Dowoon! Why are you so early today?" Junhyeok hyung asked as the rest nodded. "You guys will know later! Let's head to class!" I ran back to class.

Lunch time...

Wonpil hyung and I walked in the locker room, seeing the rest of the hyungs and Youngweol already there waiting for us. "Let's go to the canteen! I'm hungry!" Younghyun hyung remarked after I finished putting my books in my locker. I took out my phone and texted noona to meet us in the school canteen.

"Ya! Dowoon! Why are you so early today?" Jaehyung hyung asked while we made our way to the canteen. "Yeah, you have not told us the reason!" Junhyeok hyung continued. "You guys will know soon!" was all I said and I ran towards the school canteen.

Anyway, will Sowoon and MiA pass the enrollment test? How will the rest of the guys & Youngweol react seeing both MiA and Sowoon in their school?
