Christopher had noticed that I still felt shaken up by his former actions and he couldn't understand why I felt scared of him since he promised to hurt me. I wasn't scared, I was just nervous by his possible actions. He's so unpredictable, I couldn't tell what he would be capable of. So yeah I was slightly scared, but mainly I didn't trust him.
He obviously sensed that and went out but not before warning me to stay in this room so I couldn't escape. There was room service anyways and TV to keep me entertained but I just couldn't focus on the TV.
My attention kept diverting to the past few events in my life, my mind replaying the past experiences over and and over again.
I just couldn't think straight and I was clearly confused. And clearly I was being left in the dark. Christopher knew I was confused and he seems to be so close to telling me of this so-called mystery but something seems to be holding him back.
It all started with the mate bond. And then Christopher's eyes dilating to an impossible black. I know people's eyes darken in anger but how is it possible for ones eyes to go into complete darkness. And then the violet eyes. I know I was tired and exhausted at the time but I know I didn't imagine the violet eyes. I definitely saw it.
And if that wasn't enough, what about the constant references to me being a human. And the way Christopher's family paused in mid-conversation as if they had just realised that. And the way they spoke to one another without actually vocalising anything. I guess if you knew your family members well enough, you could just understand what they have to say through their facial expressions. But that wasn't the case here. It almost seemed like they were speaking through mind-conversation?
I know my thoughts sound insane but all the signs seem to be directing me towards that way.
Christopher travelling at inhumane speed? And the way he knocked out that guy didn't seem human-like. And where would all that strength come from if that man looked equally strong.
It just didn't add up and nothing made sense. What's going on?
I remember reading an awful lot about werewolves and mate bonds when I was at Christopher's mansion in his house. Then a thought occurred to me. I saw a computer at the side and quickly begun my research.
Okay I felt like an idiot.
I typed in werewolf. It came out as superstitious myths. But then there was a website that said they existed since the beginning of time with some of their kind rendered extinct leaving other scattered to find some sort of survival. It spoke about the structure. Alpha. Luna.
Those are the words Christopher's family used on me. From what I got, Christopher was the Alpha. The family head. The dominant role. The most powerful and strongest of his pack.
And I was the Luna. Meaning I was his soul mate. His partner? The one who nurtures. The mother of the pack.
Surely this couldn't all be a coincidence. But I was on a bloody online werewolf site. This is all mythology. It's dumb and stupid my rationale side screamed at me but I couldn't ignore the presence of truth burned deeply. A part of me felt, not knew, this was true. The fact that I felt it like a inner gut feeling seemed convincing enough.
Was Christopher a werewolf?
Then another thought occurred to me. Christopher's family was clearly influential but Christopher never exactly told me what they did. They seemed to be in contact with large business cooperations but what did they actually do? What was their business name?
