I couldn't seem to stop myself, I didn't know where the hell I was running off to but I just couldn't stop running. I had to get away from Christopher and keep as much as distance from his as possible.

I didn't know a lot of things but one thing was clear. I had to be away from Christopher. He tried different approaches; being authoritative, being nice or just being a plain jerk but it all came down to the ultimate standpoint, he couldn't let go of me. So the only thing I could do was run or force him to hate me enough to make me go on my own accord.

"Isabella stop" I heard his voice growl behind me as he was gaining on me, his incredible speed not giving me much advantage. But that only made me run harder, the desperate need to get away from him embroiling me in panic. He was increasingly near to me as I saw one of his hands dart out as attempt to grab me but my reflex allowed me to dodge it, making me run towards a open clearing.

I could hear his pace beginning to slow down. Maybe he had given up, like that was likely.

"Isabella stop for your own sake" he said in tiredness and I now realised why he had stopped. We reached a dead end and he wanted to give me the chance to willingly return to him rather than lashing out again.

I abruptly stopped, facing him with a horrified expression.

"Isabella, I'm sorry for everything but please just come back" he attempted as he took steps closer to me making me step backwards, dangerously backwards as I could feel myself coming onto the edge.

"No. Stay away" I warned shakily as I took tiny steps back.

He also sensed the danger of how close I was to the edge and stopped in tracks, not wanting to be responsible for me falling over the cliff. He raised his hands in surrender as he attempted to put a innocent face on that meant no harm.

"I won't come any closer but don't do anything you'll regret. Look, come on Isabella. You don't want to do this"

"What I want is for you to leave me alone" I whispered back shakily.

Then he looked at me for a few seconds, as if trying to predict what my next moves may be. I looked at him back, also trying to predict what was going on in his head. He took a final look at the edge behind me and the distance between us two, and as if on cue, anticipating his next move yo suddenly come grab me. I jumped off the cliff.

I heard Christopher call my voice as his panicked steps ran to the edge of the cliff.

And then it all happened too fast. Flying with the gravity pushing me downwards, making me crash down into the warm water whilst I spluttered and gasped for air. I was an idiot, I realised too late that I couldn't swim but I just had to get away from Christopher. I continued to gasp breathlessly but to no avail. Then I heard another crashing splash that seemed to be getting closer to me.

"Isabella, calm down

"Isabella, calm down. I'm coming to you" the voice attempted to say in a consoling manner but the panicked voice wasn't hard to miss.

Oh shit, it was Christopher and he had caught me again. I tried desperately to swim away attempting to utilise what very little life skill I had known but I was frozen to the spot.
