Mikeyla got ready by wearing a pair of jeans, black anckle boots, a grey shirt and a camouflage coat, not forgeting her sunglasses. She came out of her room to see Bucky sitting in the couch"You ready to go?" she asked
"Yeah" Bucky said nodding. Mikeyla put a hand on her hip and looked him up and down. He had jeans, combat boots, a red shirt, a brown jacket and a black glove in his left hand
"You know, maybe if you tie your hair, people won't recognize you that easy" she said pulling out a hair band from her wrist and handing it to him. He hesitantly took it
"How does this work?" he asked, she smiled
"Here, let me help you" she said and Bucky gave her back the hair tie, she walked around Bucky and stood behind him standing on her tip toes, she ran her fingers though his hair and noticed Bucky shivered slightly but tried to hide it, she put his hair in a small ponytail and then let to "Done"
Bucky reached up his hand to feel his hair and turned to Mikeyla
"Thank you"
"No problem. Let's get going" she said with a smile before walking towards the door grabbing her purse on the way. Bucky put on his cap and followed
Mikeyla drove them to different kinds of boutiques where they could buy men clothes. She kept pulling out clothes for him and he also chose some by himself. They also bought sunglasses so he could hide his eyes and higiene items like razors, men shampoo, aftershave, and other stuff like that.
"Why the scarf?" he asked
"Well, it soon will be winter, besides it looks great" Mikeyla said
"And the formal clothes? Really I can just do with some shirts and a couple of pants"
"No way, you need variety, you can't always wear jeans or sweatpants" she said putting the clothes he had just tried bu the cashier
"And the different shoes?" he said
"Your boots will be worn out in a month" Mikeyla said while the cashier checked the clothing
"Mikeyla, there's really no need for all of this" he said
"Yes it is, I said I was going to help you and I will. So suck it up" she said while watching some lip gloss trying to decide between the red one and the pink one, she grabbed both in each hand and stared at them "Which one looks better?" she asked and looked back to Bucky. He was shocked to be asked for his opinion
"Uh, um, I don't know, both?" he answered nervously
"You're totally right, I'll take both" she said and handed them to the cashier too
"Will that be all?" the cashier asked
"Yes, please" Mikeyla said with a polite smile
"Right, that'd be $300" the cashier said. Bucky's eyes widened behind Mikeyla, she only smiled and took out her wallet but was stopped by a hand in her wrist
"I can't ask you to do this for me, that's a lot of money" he said
"No it's not, I usually spend the double when I go shopping. Don't worry about it, really" she said with a smile and paid the cashier. Bucky still felt a but guilty for making Mikeyla spend her money on him, still he was grateful. The cashier gave them the bags and Bucky took the heavier ones "Thanks, have a good day" Mikeyla said to the cashier with a smile
"Thanks, you too" the cashier replied with an impressed but happy expression. Mikeyla was usually really polite
"So, it's about lunch time, wanna grab something to eat? Maybe a coffee?" Mikeyla said to Bucky while she opened the trunk of her car and put some bags there, Bucky following her actions. As a cue, Bucky's stomach growled and he looked embarassed. Mikeyla giggled "I take that as a yes" she started to walk to the driver's seat but, out on instict, Bucky reached it before her and opened the door for her, she smiled at him and blushed a little "Thank you" The sight of Mikeyla blushing made him give a small smile, once she was on the car, he got on the passenger's seat "So, what do you feel like? Chinese? Italian?" she asked and turned to a confussed Bucky
