Ch 40

Lydia and Micky were in a cell. The police was debating on their story of being girlfriends having sex in a bathroom and loosing track of time. They even played the part by kissing in front of the officers pretending to be comforting each other. Around 3am, an officer opened their cell

"You can go" the officer said "your uncle's here for you"

Lydia and Micky frowned at each other but followed the officer out. A dark skinned man with an eye patch and a cap was there

"Ah, Mickeyla" the man said opening his arms and wrapping her in a hug "You're lucky your dad doesn't know you sneaked outbl with your girlfriend. We'll say you stayed with me. Alright?"

"Y-Yeah, thanks, uncle" Micky played along. The man then turned to the officers

"Is that all, officers?" He asked

"Yeah. Here's her bag and their phones" the officer said handing the stuff to them

"Thanks" Lydia said taking them

"Let's get going then" the man said and guided the girls out. They walked about a block and Micky and Lydia stopped

"Okay. We are thankful about helping us, but we don't know you. Who are you and what do you want from us?" Micky said

"I want nothing. I was just helping" the man said "I'm Nick Fury, ex-SHIELD director"

"I thought you were dead" Micky said

"Barnes told you he killed me? He was shocked to see me too" Nick said. Micky squinted her eyes in suspicion

"What do you know about him?" Micky asked

"I'm not trying to arrest him. I've actually been working in taking his name off wanted lists. He's with the Avengers, trying to redeem himself. I had a private talk with him, he told me about you and to please keep you safe. This is my way of doing it" Nick said. Micky was shocked

"I thought... I thought he wouldn't care" Micky said

"He does. I don't have many people under my orders so I took on the job myself. You and your friends are quite a handful, a possible threat but not bad people, that's why I hadn't interfered in anything. You got out from that Hydra warehouse before I could even form a complete plan to save you, not bad for a kid" Nick complimented

"I'm 18" Micky complained

"Still impressive" Nick said and walked to a black car "I'll give you a lift to your car and I took the liberty of putting my number in your phone. I don't answer calls, only texts"

"We appreciate it" Lydia said and Micky nodded as they stepped into Nick's car

"Thank you, uncle Nick" Micky joked

"I'm not your uncle"

Lydia and Micky were home by 4am. They didn't explain anything to anyone and went straight to bed. It wasn't until the next day that they explained what had happened to the pack. After that, Lydia took the book and started reading it. It was in Latin so she was the only one who understood it

"I found something" Lydia said and everyone left their things to gather aeound the living room "The deamons have a connection to the moon. The calling has to be done on a moon eclipse. A drawing of Zagan's name had to be drawn in blood in the middle of an upside-down pentagram. There has to be something representing the elments in the points of the pentagram, fire, earth, air, water, and spirit"

"How do you represent spirit?" Malia asked

"With a sacrifice" Lydia said

"And we're back to humam sacrifices" Stiles huffed

"But she can't just do this. She has to have some deamons of his army here before Zagan arrives. That's done during a full moon with only a painted pentagram and a spell"

"Uh, guys. Not to scare you or anything but full moon's tonight" Hayden said

"She needs to find a place with energy to do the spell and she has to wait until midnight" Lydia said "We can send them back to hell. We gotta surround them though"

"Mountain ash will work. I have like 3 flasks in my room" Micky said

"If she gets to get them here, we have to surround the deamons in a mountain ash circle and say some words to send them back. Like an exorcism" Lydia said "Only a human can do it"

"We also have to protect ourselves. Spirits, dark or normal, can possess us" Stiles said

"True. Malia, Liam, Hayden and Scott are good, they're shapeshifters, and spirits can't posses a shapeshifter because they are not completely human" Micky said

"I am good too. Banshees are kind of already spirits" Lydia said

"Psychics are not. I am completely human, and so is Stiles" Micky said

"I talked to Deaton about that" Stiles said "After the nogitsune. I needed to protect us from dark spirits. A medallion made of some wood and Ruta leaves or flowers"

"Ruta? The scientific name is Spindales Rutaceae, it grows in the Mediterranean and Europe" Lydia said

"Difficult to find. But I brought some" Stikes said "a present from Deaton"

"Then we're covered" Scott said "Now we have to find the place where she will make the spell"

"Telluric currents?" Malia suggested

"I can look for them" Micky said

"Witches need a place with nature" Stiles said looking in her laptop

"Central park?" Liam suggested

"Promising but no. The telluric currents there are too thin" Micky said

"A cementery?" Hayden said

"Cementeries are holy land, witches can enter but deamons can't come out from them" Lydia said

"I know where she is going" Micky said and turned the laptop to show them the screen "The Cloisters"
