blue was never my favorite until i looked into your eyes.

oh god those eyes.

but they weren't just blue. they were blue and green, with beautiful specks of yellow. the colors blended together to create something new; something that was literally indescribable.

your eyes were like the ocean, unfortunately, i never learned how to swim.

but just like life, our love was ephemeral.

i loved you with all my heart. i loved the lazy days we would spend together cuddling on the couch and watching our favorite movies. i loved the way you smiled at me when i was sad and told me it would all be okay. i loved the way you kissed me when you knew people weren't looking.

but now the movies break my heart to pieces. your smile brings me to tears. you cared about me so much. but you're gone, and nobody cares anymore.

i look at the stars and they remind me of you.

when you had to go, you always told me to look at the stars and remember that you were looking at them too. but now when i look at the sky, the thought of you is enough to make me bleed.

i promised to you i'd never cut myself again, but what harm does one broken promise do?
