Chapter Five - I've got a boyfriend?

I'll be there in thirty. You better be ready, baby doll. - D

I frown as I read his text message, a long yawn escaping my lips. I scratch my head as I wonder what does he mean by he'll be here in thirty.

I groggily sit up from my bed and didn't bother to look at the clock on my bedside table.

What good will it do?

That's weird. It's eerily quiet. Usually, Quentin barges in my room to wake me up by sitting on me and tickling me to death by poking the sides of my waist.

Yes, I am VERY ticklish.

Speaking of Quentin - oh DAMN! That's right! My stupid carefree workaholic brother disses me for work and I'm home alone for two days! How can I forget? This is all Damon's fault! Wait, he's on his way here!

Damn it!

I quickly run towards my bathroom and showered for like what? Five freaking minutes! If you must know, I usually take one to two hours in there. What? I'd like to practice performing while showering, leave me alone.

I rummage through my closet and got my favorite muscle shirt. I put on my black jeggings and red vans. I quickly did my eyes, make it seem bigger and brighter like I usually do. I braid my blow dried hair and complete my look with a black beanie.

Over all, I took a whole fifteen minutes to prepare. Maybe, I can still cook for my breakfast or some to share with Damon.

Dang, I'm getting all giddy of thinking Damon would eat my hand cooked meal for him.

I'm becoming really impossible right now.

I slap myself lightly on my cheeks as I descend the stairs, oblivious to the fact that I'm still not on the last step, making me lose my balance and fall on my butt.

"Ow." I wince, nursing my butt. That's gotta leave a bruise.

"If you're trying to get me turned on, it's not working, baby doll." Someone behind me chuckles. I gulp, I can always recognize that deep voice anytime, anywhere.

"Why are you here already?"

"I said I'd drive you to Knight right?" He reminds me, handing me a paper bag. "Make sure to eat that."

"Oh, sure. Thanks." I muse. "Anyway, you don't have to pick me up later. I have a gig so maybe I can just see you there?"

"No, a deal's a deal." He smirks at me before turning away. "Let's go or you'll be late."
