Chapter Nine - Break Out

"Quinn Felton!" I turn around and found Alex rushing towards me with a vicious look on her face. "You're so dead when I got my hands on you!"

Uh-oh, not good.

I start sprinting away from her, spotting King at the end of the hallway who's currently talking animatedly with Claude who looks busy searching for something on his locker. I make a dash towards my two friends to seek refuge and safety from my deranged friend aka Alex.

Okay, so maybe I'm asking myself already why I'm friends with some crazy girl sprinting towards me and honestly, she may or may not look like a freaking spawn of Satan that way. Her hair practically all over face, her eyes looking like a locked mode machine gun.

"Kinggggggg!" I yell, surprising him as I grip the sides of his waist and hiding on his back. "Alex is in bat shit crazy mode! I don't know why but hell, she's onto me!"

Before King could open his mouth, Alex is already making her way towards us. "Give me that lazy ass, West, or I'll beat the shit out of you too!" She threatens while trying to rip King away from me.

At this point, we've gathered everyone's attention but surprisingly, I didn't care a little bit even if they look really glued on our business that they even stop whatever they're doing and watch us pounce on each other. Stupid mofos must've expecting a cheap cat fight since Alex doesn't stop mumbling incoherent words I think she made up.

I swear I heard her saying 'Abujkskkwnwhsuwbsklapjgrrrr.' If that makes any sense.

King smiles cheekily at her while helping me dodge her claws - I mean hands. "No can do." He says as he gently pushes me towards Claude who hides me protectively on his back.

What can I say? I have great friends. Thank you, Comrades.

"Okay, what's gotten into you?" I yell over Alex who's being held back by King.

"You left me with dumb and dumber!" She screech while I try my hardest not to laugh. I lose it as soon as King and Claude yells "HEY!" at the same time.

Seriously, they spent a whole lot of time with each other that it's almost creepy.

I'm joking.

"Calm down already and let me explain!" I chuckle. I don't know why but King suddenly throws something directly at my face. I look down and find a crumpled piece of paper. "Aw, I thought we're on the same side here. How could you!"

"Cheeky bastard." Claude chuckles, a little too low to be heard.

"Yeah, he's a cheeky bastard alright." I nod, agreeing with him. Claude laughs at this while King frowns slightly. I turn my gaze to Alex who seems to calm a little. "You calm now?"

"Hold on a sec." She says, her hands on her chest. I can totally relate with her right now. We may look fit but we lose our breath whenever we run a little. "Okay, now I'm calm."

"Here." I give her my water bottle that she greedily accepts. She unscrew the cap and drank at least half of the cold water.

"Thanks." She smiles. "Man, we really need to exercise."
