As we entered the only route to find Snape, we approached Fluffy. A three headed dog.
The harp was playing Ghostly Night and the dog seemed to be fast asleep. Not much of a guard, if you ask me.
We tip tied towards the trap door as Harry realised... The harp had stopped playing. In unison, we glanced up at a rather large, growling drooling monster. A three headed dog!
I shut my eyes in fright. Suddenly, an idea came to me.
"No sleep for the ghosts in the dead of night.
Giving all those Muggles a fright.
Glassy and bare,
Beginning to scare,
All in the Ghostly dead of night.
Tucked in their beds,
So the Muggles said,
Came a whoosh and a cry.
Suddenly, all alone,
A party of ghosts came in with no skin nor bone...
So they ran out of bed,
So those frightened Muggles said,
They ran as fast as they could,
Just like the ghosts warned they should,
And they ran far away, as far as could go
All in the dead of a Ghostly night."Fluffy slouched and snored again as I slipped down the trap door with the others in toe
"That was bloody brilliant, Holly!" Ron piped.
We all landed softly on something mushy. It began to tangle me and drag me under.
Devil's SnareI could hear Hermione explaining it thoroughly and I noted to keep calm. I breathed slowly and soon I was dropped freely below.
As usual, it took Ron a little while longer to calm down.
