COLLINS' POV

"Collins?!" my mom yelled from down stairs
"Yeah?!"
"Come down here and take out the garbage!"
"Ok! Be down in a sec"

I got down stairs, grabbed the garbage and headed out the door to the bottom of my driveway.
I opened up the trash bin dropped the bag in and then turned around to walk back up to the house but then I heard a door open, I quickly turned around to see who it was, maybe someone I know?
It was dark out and I couldn't see much but I did see a girl. Because It was so dark I couldn't see what she completely looked like, but she was kinda tall.
I walked over introduced myself

" Hey! My name is Collins.. Well.. Collins key "

"Oh, hi I'm Emily Fawn! Nice to meet you!!"
She had brown hair and green eyes, she was really pretty"

"So.. Are you new here? "

"Yeah.. I'm new.. My mom, dad and little sister got into a car crash not to long ago.. They all died that day. So now I'm living here. " she said in very sad tone

"Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry! How old was your sister? "

"Two years younger then me, so 14 years old. "

"I can't believe that!! I'm sorry.."

"Me too..."

I gave her a quick hug then backed away.

"Do you have your phone with you by any chance?"

"Umm.. Yeah why?"

"Can I add my number?!"

"Yeah, sure! Here. "

She gave me her phone and I put in my information then handed it back to her.

"Text me when you can! And if you need to talk at anytime I'm here"

"Thank you, I appreciate it!"

"Anytime!"

I say goodbye, turned around and crossed the road to my house.
I got to my room and started to cry and thought how how crazy her life must be right now and how these past weeks must of felt like. I can't imagine losing my family.
