EMILYS POV
~ later that day ~
Texting Collins--

Emily: Collins? I need to tell you something? Please can we meet somewhere?

Collins: Yeahh of course!! What's up? I can come over??

Emily: Yeah that would work. Could you come over, now?

Collins: Yes. Emily is everything okay??

Emily: Not really. See you soon?

Collins: leaving right now

I saw his text, didn't bother to respond. Seconds later I heard a knock on the door downstairs.
I got down and went to answer the door.
"Hey Collins, come in." I say.
"Emily is everything okay??" He asks in a worried tone.
"No Collins, I'm leaving." I lean in and hug him. He hugs me back not letting go.
"Emily, what do you mean, you're leaving? You just got here." He giggles. I pull away, I step back its only for a few days but I might be getting adopted." I say.
"Emily, isn't that what you want?" He asks
"No it's not what I want. Collins, I JUST lost my family and have been taken away from my friends but I'm getting to know Caleb and Kate, and I have you, Collins. don't wanna leave." Collins smiled.
He steps closer. "They can't make you." You need to agree to it too, Emily." Collins added.
"Can we go to my room?" I ask
"Yeah, for sure." Collins said.
He heads up the stairs and I follow.
We reached my room. I step in front of Collins, and open the door. He followed behind and closes the door behind him.

Collins POV

Emily was really worried. I know she might've been scared. We moved towards her bed and sat down. I turned to Emily and looked in the eye and spoke, "Emily I have a feeling you are scared. You need to trust the people your going to be with tomorrow, trust Kate that she will be doing everything she can to keep you, and Emily, I hope you can trust me too. Not just with what might be happening but with anything. Any secret, any worry and any problem, Tell me, I will always be there for you. Okay?" I say.  "Thank you so much Collins." 
"Any time, Emily".
