Chapter 2: Blue-eyed beauty

Harry's POV
Today is the first day off of my boxing career to spend with family and friends. My manger, Simon didn't really appreciate me blowing it off but I needed something more in my life.

That's day at the mall where I met the beautiful Louis Tomlinson. Let's just say I was infatuated with him from the minute I ran into that store, I almost feel the need to thank the people chasing me into that store.

As I walk into my gym while daydreaming of my blue-eyed princess, I notice that Liam, my trainer, was talking to me. I shook my head and stare at him before asking "What?"

Liam shakes his head, "Harry, I thought you were taking time off. I get we're friends but what gives."

I laugh, "I still to keep in shape for next season. Plus, I've got to work on protecting my princess as well."

Liam raises his eyebrow, and laughs, "ha okay Harry. you don't have a princess."

I frown, "not yet. I will though."

Liam suddenly looks more intrigued, "who's this princess you speak of? because you sure as hell ain't straight Harry."

I smile at the idea of him, "well his name is Louis Tomlinson. he's quite tiny compared to me, almost like I could put him in my pocket."

Liam laughs loudly, "God, this boy already has you smitten."

I shake my head and pull my fingers through my hair, "that's not it. he has light brown hair and beautiful sun-kissed skin. he has this cute little button nose. and oh don't let me get started on his eyes. he's got the most beautiful ocean blue eyes ever."

Liam looks at Harry in shock because Harry never is that smitten over someone, not even when he dated Nick. Though Nick was more of a stunt to prove to Simon that Harry could be gay and still have fans for boxing. Liam smiles at Harry, "well good to know you're whipped. Now, let's get some training down before I meet up with Zayn."

Harry nods. "How are you and Zayn??"

Liam's eyes lit up at the name of his love, "he's very good. starting a new job soon."

Harry nods, "alright that's sick. let's get to work."

Louis' POV
I put on my apron as I start to clean the diner table tops. Working at Mama Jone's Diner was simply a treat that Mama Jones did for Louis because he needed money. Niall works at some big production studio and he didn't want Niall to feel he had to do everything.

The door opens and the chime goes off, "one second" I call. I stand up and turn around to see a very beautiful, tanned boy standing shyly by the counter. I smile, "hi. I'm Louis. what can I get you?"

He smiles timidly, "a table for two. my boyfriend should be here soon."

"right this way!" as I lead him to the booth I've just cleaned. I lay down the menus. "Would you like me to take your drink order now or when he gets here?"

The tan-skinned boy thinks before saying he'll just have two waters. Louis nods before rushing to the back and getting the waters ready. The door opens again and Louis smiles at the sound because it meant the boy wasn't stood up. Louis had witnessed people being left alone to eat by theirselves and it broke his heart. He comes back with the waters, "hi. I'm Louis. you must be the one he was waiting for. are you two ready to order?" The tan-skinned boy looks at his love. The tan-skinned boyfriend was quite buff and had a buzz cut with soft puppy dog, brown eyes. "I'm Liam and that's Zayn. We aren't quite ready to order but may I ask you something?"

Louis smiles and nods" of course."

Liam looks at Zayn and Zayn gives him a warning look almost like "be nice". Liam sighs before asking, "do you know Harry Styles by any chance?"

Louis blushes a beat red and nods slowly. Zayn smacks Liam's arm, "Li!! You can't just ask that! You're embarrassing him! *looks at Louis* Sorry about him, we'll be ready in a few."

Louis nods before taking off. He waits a few more minutes before shyly walking back to the couple, "are you ready to order now?" Liam nods, "I'm sorry for asking you that. I just train Harry for boxing and he mentioned meeting a Louis that's why I asked." Louis perks up, "he mentioned me?" Liam smiles, "yeah kept going on and on about you. quite cute."

After that, Louis took their order and other costumers filed in. It was around 8 pm when Louis got off work and headed home to his bed. He brought some food with him so Niall doesn't question him.

As he arrives to the apartment, Niall is distracted easily by the food. Louis hides in his room and grabs his phone. He looks up Harry's contact.

To: Harry

Hi. It's Louis.

From: Harry:

Hi Princess.

To Harry:

I met your friend, Liam today.

From Harry:

and did he have anything to say?

To Harry:

he said that you've mentioned me, and now I'm curious why :)

From Harry:

because my princess, you take up my mind most of the time.

To Harry:

Oh :) Well has the boxing?

As Louis and Harry kept texting, Harry mentioned the idea of them hanging out and being sassy as Louis is said he had to ask him much better than over text. Which leads to Harry staying up and thinking of all the cute ways he could ask Louis out. Honestly, Harry is noticing how smitten he's becoming and almost a little too excited about asking Louis out. Yet Louis was just as excited and he hoped Harry would still ask him out.
