Fix Me || l.t.

Chapter 12

It had been a week since Louis told me that my attacker was John. I still didn’t know what he was going to do about it but I don’t think Louis knew either. So far everything had gone back to normal and Louis had been very attentive towards me which sort of raised a red flag in my head but I was just so glad to have him back with me. I had just received a text from Lou that asked me to meet him at my favorite restaurant tonight. It was usual behavior but it sounded like maybe Louis had a plan. I brushed light makeup over my facial features and tugged on one of my usual tight fitting club dresses. However when I was zipping it up I noticed that it fit a little tighter than before. I would just have to deal with it because I had run out of time to change.

I arrived at the restaurant, told the hostess I was looking for a Louis Tomlinson and she led me to a secluded table in the back of the crowded restaurant. This scene reminded me of the first time I went on a date with Louis which ended in a chase with a not so good ending. Things were so much different now and the memory of where we were to where we are made a smile appear on my face. Walking towards Louis was like something out of a movie. His eyes sparkled a crystal blue in the dim lights, a tight button up shirt complete with suspenders adorned his torso and tight black skinny jeans hugged his bottom half, his sandy brown hair was spiked to the side and his smile sent a tingling sensation straight to my stomach. He was perfect and he was all mine. Upon my arrival to the table Lou stood to greet me with a kiss on the cheek.

“Hello love.” He whispered in my ear as he pushed my chair in.

“Hello babe.” I smiled back at him.

We ate and just as the waitress brought out dessert the mood of our evening changed from happy to serious. I could tell something was going on in Louis’s mind and it made me nervous to say the least. Finally he broke the tension and silence.

“So I'm sure by now you know this is way more than just a normal date.” He spoke nervously.

I nodded and waited for him to continue.

“I brought you here to tell you that I'm going to take care of John.” He said as he avoided eye contact.

“Take care of him how?” I asked with concern.

“Well nothing too terrible but I know that he will be at the club tonight and I want to give him what he deserves.” He spoke with confidence.

“Louis no. I thought we agreed we would get the police involved if he ever came around again?” I said feeling myself get near to hysterical.

“I need to take care of him my way first.” He replied.

“No I won’t let you do this!” I nearly shouted as I stood up from the table.

“Karsyn I have to! He hurt the two people that matter most to me I have to show him how much he’s made me angry all these years.” He said as he stood up after me.

“No I can’t… I won’t be a part of this!” I said as I stormed out of the restaurant.

I barely made it out the door before tears started to stream down my face. The cold air hit my face as I began to run down the sidewalk. I suddenly heard footsteps behind me and knew it was Louis.

“Karsyn wait!” he shouted from behind me.

I turned fast to face him, feeling all my anger well up inside me and boil over the edge of my control.

“Why Louis?! Why should I wait? You are going to do whatever the hell you want whether I try to stop you or not!” I yelled through the night air.

“I need you there with me Karsyn! I am not going to hurt him I just need for him to pay for all he’s done to me and to you and Katie! You are my strength Kar, I need you with me!” he pleaded.

I ran to him and jumped into his arms, letting my tears soak into his shirt with his strong arms wrapped around me. I was going to go with him and support him even thought this plan terrified me to no end.

“Hey.” He said lifting my head with his finger. “I'm not going to ever leave you Karsyn; everything bad and broken goes away when I'm with you. You take me back to a brand new start, you make me better and there is no way on Earth I would ever want to miss the way you fix me Kar. You fix me. You always leave me wanting more, like every day my world is about to change all over. Because you have shown me so much that is why I need to make peace with John. You fix me every day so please promise me you will never leave me? Can you promise me that?” Louis gushed nearly in tears.

“I promise.” I whispered as I kissed his cheek.
