Lesson 7: Fear No Bitch

"Bree! Bree! Goddamn it girl! I know you can hear me!" Sandy called out. And she was right, I could hear her. I stopped in the fairly inhibited corridor and faced her.

"Yes?" I answered.

She caught up to me and I suddenly felt as if she was going to make me do something. Something I didn't want to do. "You have to tell Carter - "

"Nuh uh. You're his twin. You tell him," I interrupted. We paused in the long corridor, all the bypassers made their way to the cafeteria.

"What did I say about being a bad sport?" Sandy reminded. I scowled. "Plus it was your idea anyway."

"What was?" I asked.

"That we're doing the Carter splat." Damn it.

"Do I have to?" I whined. Sandy nodded.

"You have to. Your idea, you tell him. Plus you get to bond with him how nice is that?" It's horrible, absolutely horrible.

"What do I say? 'Oh hey Carter, yeah we're doing the Carter splat'. And then just walk away? Actually, yeah I'll just do that - "

"Not so fast. C'mon, have a nice conversation with him. Like you did when you were at my house? He's bad but not not that bad."

Speak of the devil and he will appear. Carter came with - not Clara - but another chick who had difficulties covering her cleavage. A girl I vaguely remember to be in the cheerleading team. They were about 100 ft away from us, I lowered my voice and Sandy did the same so they won't hear us.

I scrunched up my face in disgust. "Why do I have to make that fall for me? I'm clearly not his taste. And I have standards."

"Because he has a nice heart. I promise you will see it one day." Carter met my eyes for a second, I didn't divert away but he did, something flickering momentarily before he got the blonde and started to kiss her neck.

Eww. "He's disgusting. Just look - ugh - has he got any boundaries?"

"Chillax Bree. He keeps on looking at you anyway," Sandy stated. It's because I'm a girl he probably stares at all the girls in this school probably not Hailey or Sandy though...

"Sandy. I am wearing heels higher than his standards and I decided to wear flats today." Sandy laughed as I gestured to my ballerina flats. They had no heels at all.

"Now that is a good comeback and that is exactly what he likes! I know what he likes."

"Well I'm nothing like the girl who he is currently eating the face of," I assured. She turned his way to see and grimaced before looking back at me. My point exactly.

"He doesn't like her. We both know that. He has these flings to let time pass. I bet you he wants to find someone to settle down with but can't. If he likes you - no if he falls in love with you, you'll be his and his only forever." Sandy made the last part sound so hopeful and realistic... something I wasn't sure to believe.

I don't want to be his... And what if I'm not? "When do I have to tell him?" Finlly getting back to the previous conversation.

Sandy smiled. "That's a good girl. Right about... now." She looked towards her brother. The blonde pecked him and walked off, he opened his locker.

Oh how I hated her impeccable timing.

Her smile widened as I began to trudge towards his direction but she stopped me. "Before I forget to tell you, Clara hasn't been very happy lately. If she sees you with Carter that would be her bitch mode on so in that case, lesson 7: fear no bitch." I nodded and continued to walk towards Carter's direction, wondering how was I going to start the damn conversation.
