Grace's POV
"Aubree! I'm here! And I may need a bandaid..." I say, limping into Aubree's house. My leg was still bleeding from when I went over that bump in front of Jacobs house. Why do I always do everything embarrassing if front of Jacob?!
"Ok! Coming!" I hear Aubree say. She comes over by her front door and looks down at my leg in shock.
"What did you do this time?!" She asks me, and I laugh.
"Hit a bump while riding over to your house...." I say.
"Well I might need to get you a bigger bandaid!" She says, laughing. Once I get all bandaged up, we go up to Aubree's room.
"So, how's Jacob?" She says smirking.
"I don't know. It's not like I ever talk to him." I say, feeling my cheeks get rosy.
"Awee. You should try and talk to him though. Otherwise he will just know you as his shy next door neighbor." Aubree says.
"Well I try! But every time I try to I just chicken out." I say, looking down at the bandages on my leg.
"Well then gain more confidence woman! It's just a guy. Pretend like your taking to your friend or something." She says.
"Trust me. I've tried everything. But nothing works. And today was the worst!" I say, remembering back to all three incidents that happened.
"Wait? What happened??" She asks me.
"Well, Me and Hunter were hanging out and-" I start, but then get cut off.
"You hung out with Hunter without telling me?! You know I like him. Unfair." Aubree says, sticking her bottom lip out. Aubree has liked Hunter for a while now, but he's going into 8th grade and we're going into 7th grade so it may be hard for Aubree to win him over.
"It's not my fault! He came in my room while I was having a peaceful day to myself." I tell Aubree.
"Ugh fine. Continue your story." She says.
"So, Hunter was like hey lets get some ice cream and I was like ok so we take our penny boards to brain freeze. We order and then we go outside and Hunter trips me."
"So?" Aubree asks.
"Let me finish!" I tell her.
"Anyways, he trips me and I drop my ice cream, and guess who was there." I say, and she starts smirking.
"Please don't tell me you fell on Jacob." She says, and my face goes red just thinking about it.
"Oh God you fell on him." She says, and I nod my head.
"And then we were riding back to my house and I fell and Jacob fell on top of me!" I tell Aubree.
"I bet you liked it." She says while raising her eyebrows. I lightly push her, and she pushed me back. I fall off her bed and we both start laughing. Let's just say Aubree is a lot stronger than me... I'm only 4'9, and she's 5'5. I'm always the weakling *tear*. We decide to watch a movie, so she turns on Netflix and we watch Expelled. She pops popcorn, and while she's gone I start to sing. I look out the window into the sunset. It's so pretty, just like Jacob. Hahahahaha. After what seems like forever, Aubree finally comes back with the popcorn. We sit down and watch the movie, finally.

Aubree's POV
I come back from popping the popcorn to here singing coming from my room. I obviously know it's Grace, so I listen. She was singing the song "Never forget you" by Zara Larrson & MNEK. Since my door was open, I grab my phone and pull up my camera app. I start to record her singing, and then she stops.
"It's so pretty, just like Jacob." She says, staring out the window. I'll cut that part out.... I take the video and post it on my Instagram.

@AubreeeeXoxo: Why is she so talented😍 @Grace.Thomas #singing #goals ❤️❤️❤️

Then I post it. Her phone was in her pocket so she wouldn't see it till later. I walk in, and she looks over at me.
"Yay! Popcorn!" She says and reaches over for the bowl. We chill out, eat our popcorn, and watch Expelled.
