Graces POV
My Spanish class was upstairs, so I run up the stairs in a hurry, when I bump into someone. I look up and see Hunter looking down at me.
"Hunter! I'm going to be late, help me pick up my stuff!" I say. Hunter starts laughing at me.
"God, why so snobby! Your not gonna be late! Anyway, how's your first day going?" He asks me.
"Good." I say.
"Oh that's cool. Are you coming over after school?" Hunter asks me. Oh poop, I forgot about that.
"Sorry, I can't. I'll explain later! Bye!" I say and run off to Spanish. I get in there and see Brandon, Connor, and that one girl I bumped into in the hallway. What's her name, Brooke? No that's not right. Bella! That's what it was😂. I didn't feel like talking to that Connor guy, so I go and sit my Bella.
"Hi!" She says. Her wavy carmel hair was so pretty, and I would die for it.
"Hey." I say.
"Soo." She says.
"Sooo." I say. We continue saying "so" but adding and extra o at the end. We end up laughing so hard that everyone stares at us.
"Hola class! I'm Señor Almond, and I'll be your Spanish teacher!" The teacher says.
"Almond." Bella says, and I start laughing.
"Ok, I want all the pods to be filled up so how about you boys move up here by these ladies." Señor Almond says to Brandon and Connor. They come and sit down by me and Bella. Connor sat down next to me, and I scooted my chair a little bit towards Bella.
"Heyy." He says to me.
"Um, a little to close." I say, leaning towards Bella.
"Trade spots with me. I'll protect ya girl." Bella whispers in my ear, and I nod my head. I switch, so then Bella is sitting next to Connor, and I'm sitting next to Brandon.
"Hey jumpman." Brandon says to me. He always calls me jumpman because I get really scared easily, so every time he scares me I jump really high.
"Haha, your so funny." I say, folding my arms.
"Ok class, we are going to start by picking out your Spanish names. I'm going to pass around a hat, one with girl names and one with guy names. Whatever one you pick is the one your stuck with!" Señor Almond says. He hands the hats to our table first, and I pick out of it.
"Guys, you can call me Rosa from now on!" I say.
"Call me Josephina!" Bella says excitedly.
"I got Juan." Connor says laughing. I start laughing because the way he said it was priceless.
"I got Jesus. What kind of name is that?!" Brandon says. Me and Bella break out laughing.
"It's pronounced hey-soos. Not Jesus!" Bella says while rolling her eyes.
"Oh, whoops." He says while laughing. I have a feeling this is going to be a fun Spanish class.
