Chapter 22

Graces POV
      The bell rang finally, which meant I only had one more class until the end of the day. It was gym class though, ew. I run to my locker, which was one the other side of the school from my language arts class. When I get there, nobody is at there lockers. No Mark, no Jacob, nobody. I shove my binder in my locker and grab my gym clothes. I run to gym, but the bell rang before I got there. Great. I walk in and everybody must be in the locker rooms, because nobody was in the gym. I walk into the locker room and see Aubree. I also see Bella, but she was talking with someone else. I run over to Aubree, and we start talking right away.

"Ok, so I was just in wood shop, and guess who's in my class?" Aubree asks me.

"Who?" I ask.

"Mark, Jacob, and Brandon." She says. I think that's a pretty good combo, but apperantly she doesn't think so.

"What's wrong with them?" I ask.

"Well Mark is annoying." She says, laughing.

"Yeah, at least you don't have to live with him." I say, rolling my eyes. I get on my gym clothes, and once I finally get them on, only me and Aubree are in the locker room.

"Hurry up slow poke!" Aubree says.

"Ok. I'm ready." I say. We walk out, and people are already running laps.

"Your late! Get running!" Our gym teacher screams at us. She was this fifty year old woman, who was kinda on the chubbier side. Me and Aubree look at each other and start running. I look around and see basically everyone here, and when I mean everyone I mean like everyone who I have talked to today! Like Bella, Mark, Jacob, Brandon, Connor, Natalie, Anne, Sydney, her friend Madi, and Jacobs friends Joseph.

"Well this is going to be a fun gym class!" I whisper to Aubree. She nods her head excitedly. Our gym teacher blows her whistle, and everyone runs to the middle of the gym. Aubree and I follow, then sit down.

"Ok, you have to get into groups of four! We are going to go outside on the track and do relays! Oh yeah, and the groups have to be two girls, two guys." Says the gym teacher. Aubree obviously goes with me, and I look over at Jacob. I was hoping we were in a group together, since I was going to his house after school. I look over at him, and I see him and Joseph coming over by us.

"Are you fast at running?" Jacob asks me.

"When I want to be." I say with a smile.

"Ok, well me and Joseph are gonna join you. We better win!" Jacob says, making me laugh. I kinda felt bad for Aubree, because after Jacob came over by us I was just talking to Jacob. But that gives her time to bond with Joseph, right? I look behind me and see Mark with Brandon, Sydney, and Madi. Ewww. We get on the track and get in our spots. Jacob was first, then me, then Aubree, and Joseph was last. I walk over to my place, and Brandon was next to me.

"Good luck Jumpman." Brandon says to me. I glare at him, oh he's gonna get beat.

"Your going down Rowland jr!"
