Graces POV
"GRACEEE! HURRY UP YOU SLOW POKE!" Aubree shouts, as I grab my mint green penny board and start riding. I rode passed Jacobs house, and I saw his cat in the window. Lol. He still doesn't know I like him, but we have been getting closer every day. We practically are dating, except we aren't.
"Stop looking through Jacobs window you creep." Aubree says, laughing at me.
"Hey at least I don't have Jacob as my back ground." I say, and her face turns red.
"But I don't have him as my back ground!"
"Yeah well you have Hunter." I say, smirking. I take her phone and unlock it, reveling Hunters face as her home screen.
"Grace give me my phone back!" She says, attempting to snatch her phone. She try's getting her phone back until we finally get to the park. Right as I jump off my penny board, I run away while spamming Aubree's phone with ugly selfies of me. I look over at Aubree, and she was on my phone!
"Aubree! Give it back!" I say, running towards me.
"I just love hanging out with you, you are such a fun person!" She says, impersonating a text Jacob sent to me.
"Aubree! Please give it back!"
"We should hang out every night! Your like, my best friend!" She says, laughing her ass off. All of a sudden, I look and see Jacob is riding his bike with Joseph... TO THE PARK!
"Your sweatshirt is so warm! But you can have it back if you want." She continues on and on with our recent conversations.
"Aubree! Stop! Seriously!" I whisper shout, hoping Jacob & Joseph don't hear. Especially Jacob.
"Hm... Let me impersonate you now!" She says, jumping on the picnic table.
"Aubree! Stop! They're here!" I say. She must have not heard me because she started talking. I felt my fave get redder and redder and Aubree continued talking and as Jacob got closer.
"I'm Grace! I love to sing, and I LOVEEE Jacob! He's just so cute and ugh I can't get enough!" She says. Jacob walks over, and I run over to him, trying to shoo him away.
"Hey, what is she doing?" Jacob asks.
"Uh... I really don't know. But um I think-"
"Is she talking about me?" Jacob asks. I feel my face burn up. All I wanted to do was dig myself into a hole and die in it.
"Hey Aubs, Whatcha Doin?" He asks. She stops mid sentence, talking about how me and Jacob love spending time together.
"Oh. Hi Jacob!" She says, jumping off the table.
"I was just... um... dancing? If I told you Grace would kill me. Sorry." She said. Ugh, sometimes Aubree is so stupid.
"Well I heard you say my name. Why were you saying my name?" He asks her. I shake my head no at her.
"Um I was just impersonating Sydney. She has a huge crush on you!" Aubree says. Fhew, that was a close one.
"Really? Ew." He says. I feel a weight come off my shoulders, because she's always talking to him and I thought he liked her.
"Hey um Aubree... Can I talk to you?" Joseph asks Aubree. She nods her head and they walk over to the swings.
"Look. I know Sydney likes me. But I also know Aubree wasn't impersonating her." He says. Oh shit.
