Chapter 38

Graces POV
"What do you mean?" I say. I could feel my heart beating out of my chest, oh my lord I'm so scared right now.

"She was obviously impersonating you. But like a lot of people think we like each other, so um..." He says. We intensity look at each other, and I though this was the moment. I stared into his hazel eyes, and he was deeply staring into mine.

"Hey guys! Whatcha doin over there?" I hear Aubree yell. I roll my eyes as Joseph and her approach us.

"Um we were just talking. Well I better go. I'll see you at school tomorrow, bye Jacob." I say. I was pissed at Aubree, so I took my penny board and rid home, by myself.

Ugh. I wish I could throw my alarm clock out the window. I slowly get out of bed and scroll through Twitter, until I realize I've been on my phone for 30 min.. whoops. I quickly jump in the shower and when I'm done I through my hair in a messy bun. I put on some leggings and a random sweatshirt, and quickly apply light makeup. I put on my white high top converse and grab my backpack, and I quickly run out of the house. I get outside, and it was raining. Great. I can't get a ride because my moms at work, and I can't take the bus because ew. So I just decide to walk. All of a sudden I look behind me and see Hunter running up towards me. Before he can jump on top of me, I run out of the way so I don't get killed.

"Why are you walking alone?" He asks me when he finally catches up.

"Uh cause Aubree is pissing me off." I say, and he gives me a strange look.

"What happened?" He asked.

"Well we were at the park and stuff happened and if I told you then-"

"Wait?! Ok lemme guess. So you guys were gossiping about who you think is on there period and stuff-" I punch him in the shoulder.

"We don't talk about that!" I say, laughing.

"Whatever! Let me keep talking! So you guys were talking about the guys you both like and stuff, and then they showed up at the park!" He said. Wow, he was almost spot on.

"Uh well yah." I say, suspecting he still won't find out.

"Well Brandon wasn't at the park, so you don't like him..." He says. Then all of a sudden Jacob comes running up to us.

"Hey guys! I didn't have anyone to walk with so imma walk with you guys." He says, making me giggle.

"Hey Jacob, were you at the park yesterday?" He asks, then when he wasn't looking, smirks at me. Oh shit. Nononononononononono.

"Uh yeah, why?" He asks.

"Oh. Well I was biking by and I saw you with Grace but I wasn't sure if it was you." He says, then starts laughing. Shit. Now Hunter knows. And Hunter isn't one to keep secrets. He looks over and smirks at me, and I kinda really wanna flip him off right now.

"Oh. Well yeah I was there." Jacob says.

"Cool bro." Hunter says. Jacob goes on his phone, and Hunter looks at me and winks. Well this is going to be a long day.
