Chapter 1

Age: 7

Emily's POV:
I sat there in front of my mirror as mommy finished curling my hair. It was my birthday party so I wanted to look really pretty. My brother was having some of his friends come over as well, so I had to look presentable. I know what your thinking, I'm to young to have a crush. Well, that may be true but my brother Chris has this friend named Caleb.... He is absolutely amazing. Or amading as he would call it. He is always so happy and cheery.

After about 30 minutes we heard a door bell ring.

"I'LL GET IT!" I screamed. 

Caleb was right behind my brother. I saw him starting at me which mel are me beyond happy.

"Wow, you look great birthday girl." Caleb said. He was kinda stuttering which made him sound even more cuter.

"Hey man stop hitting on my sister." Chris said jokingly.

"Thanks Caleb!"
He said I looked great!!!!!!! I'm dead now....

2 hours later

It was time to open presents so everyone gathered around while I opened all my gifts. I opened the one from mommy first. She got me 2 diamond earrings, 1 teddy bear, and a gymnastics mat!

"MOMMY THANK YOU SO MUCH!" I screamed.

"Your welcome sweetheart, open some more gifts."

I eventually got to Caleb's gift. I was really excited. He got me a heart neckless that had an E in it.

"Thank you so much Caleb! I'll wear it everyday."

"No problem Emily, anything for you." Caleb said.

Eventually everyone went home. But Caleb was the last to go.

"I hope you had a great birthday Emily." He said.

"I did. Thanks again for the neckless.!"

"Oh, I almost forgot your last gift!" Then calebs hugged me for 10 straight seconds. Then we heard a car horn and it made us both jump.

"That's my ride. Bye Emily!"

"Bye Caleb!"

Best. Birthday. Ever.
