*part 2 from chapter 6*
Emily's POV:
I couldn't say anything. My own brother...... Dead. Caleb came in and as soon as I saw him I broke down in tears. Not a pretty cry... The kind where you hyperventilate and basically screaming.
"I'm so sorry sweetie, we are going to take you to the hospital."
Caleb, clueless of what is going on, doesn't know what to do.
"Um, can I go mom?" Caleb asks
"Only if Emily wants you too Caleb. This is something very serious and I don't think she would want you to see her like this." Katie said.
"It's-it's- f-fine." I barely manage to say 2 words. My stomach and head hurt so bad. I feel really hot to the point where I might pass out. I had spent my entire life with Chris. And now I'll never see him again.
"I'm sorry em...." Caleb says. I look at him. I see a tear Come down his cheek. I can't say anything. It feels like there is a knot in my throat the size of a quarter.
We finally got to the hospital but they wouldn't let Katie or Caleb Come in the room. Only family members.
When I walked in I felt everyone's sadness just hit me at once.....
"Sweet heart," my mom said," chris had a heart condition, basically where a muscle in his heart hardness to the point it can't beat anymore."
I never got to say good bye...... We fought the last time we talked.
I hated myself so much.... I kissed Chris's cheek and told him how much I love him and that I'll never forget him.........
