Emily's POV:
I woke up at 8 AM to brush my teeth, take my curlers out, and get dressed. I was so excited for little hay hay to turn 1!
It took about a hour for me to get ready. But when I was done getting ready I was ready to run over to Caleb's house.
"Mommy, are you almost done?" I asked mom
"You'll be able to go there soon sweetie." Mom replied.
"Eager to go to your boyfriends house, huh?" Chris said
"Shut up Chris...."
After what seemed like a hour mom was ready to go. When we got to Caleb's house he was waiting outside for me. When I came out of the car he ran up to me and gave me a huge hug.
I walked in and gave little Hayley a big hug and wished her a happy birthday.
"Tank yew!" She tried to say.
"You're welcome!"
All was going good at the birthday party until Mrs Katie came and said she wanted to come and talk to me.....
"Hey Emily, can you come here?"
"Sure Mrs Katie."
"Sweetheart, Chris, he is...." Her voice started to crack.
"Dead......"
