Chapter 26

I walk into lunch side by side with Vikk. We get in line for chicken alfredo and fruit.

"That one dude looked familiar" I said to Vikk.

"I don't think I have seen him before, maybe at your old school" he suggests.

"Maybe."

Once we get our food we walk over to the table. Out of the corner of my eyes I could see Jessica staring daggers at me from her table.

I sit down on the edge with Vikk sitting across from me.

"Okay where do you wanna go tonight?"

"How about we go to dairy queen?" he suggest.

"Awesome, but can we go home and get changed, I don't want to wear this to dairy queen" I said.

"Yeah" he says. We continued talking until we were dismissed for the next class. For the rest of the day I stayed next to Vikk side, not thinking of any consequences on Vikk part.

"Come on Vikk" I said as I pulled his arm. We were walking down the street and I was trying to get him to walk faster since I REALLY wanted ice cream.

"Okay in coming" he says as he starts running, me chasing after him.

When we get to the house I was out of breathe.

"Lets not do that again" I said to Vikk who is also out of breathe.

"Agreed."

We walk inside and up the stairs. I turn into my room and he continues down the hall to his room. I change into some comfy clothes before I wipe my makeup off and reapply my lipstick. I brush my hair and put it up into a ponytail.

I walk down the steps and see Vikk who just put his hoodie on.

"Ready" I ask him.

"Ready" he says. I smile at him as we were about to leave but the door opened to see Josh and Simon.

"Where are you two going" Simon asks.

"Me and Vikk are going to dairy queen and celebreating the last day of school" I said.

"I'll come with you guys" he said with a smile as he grabbed his hoodie off of the rack.

"Actually it's just gonna be a me and Vikk time today" I said to him as I grab Vikk hand and pulled him out the door. Not before I saw the daggers Simon was staring at Vikk.

We walk along, out hands still intertwined, towards the dairy queen.

"So are we gonna go looking for that dagger thing from Minnesota" Vikk asks.

"Yeah, the guys in LA are coming and Josh payed for me and you since he isn't gonna be able to come along with Ethan, Harry, and JJ. So it's gonna be me, you, Simon, Tobi, Adam, Preston, Jerome, Jason, Lachlan, and Jack and Mark decided to come as well since they wanted a break" I said.

In the distance I could see the dairy queen, empty. Next to it is the McDonald's, packed.

I look over at Vikk, the lights from the lamps that are turning on reflecting in his eyes. He was looking forward, paying no attention to me as we walk up to dairy queen.

We go in, stepping into the no person line, as we figure out what to eat.

I ended up going with a burger, triple berry smootie and a large got fudge sundea that me and Vikk were gonna share.

We sit down at a booth facing eachother. I finished my burger and smoothie at the same time Vikk finished his. Soon the people bring out our hot fudge sundae and two spoons.

I took a bite and smiled.

"You like" he says as he took his own bite.

"It's so good, I love ice cream" I said.

"Hung guard" he said as he put his spoon out like a fencing sword.

"Hung guard" I said as I attacked with my own spoon.

I laugh as I fling his spoon at the walk with my own.

"You win" he said, also laughing. He grabs his spoon and we finish eating the sundae. I take a bite and go take another bite but was stopped by Vikk.

"You got a little something there" he said pointing at my face. I wipe the left side of my mouth saying, "did I get it."

"Nope" he says. I wipe the right side of my mouth. He shakes his head.

"Here I'll get it" he says before leaning in. His lips touch mine, kissing me. I was shocked at first before I kids back. He has very soft lips.

He pulls back and there was fudge on his lips.

"So you weren't lying about me having something on my face" I said joking. We laugh.

I stand up and grab the empty cup and throw it away. I walk back over to Vikk and grab his hand and pull him out of dairy queen.

We walk to the park, our hands interlocked.

We get to the park that Simon was beat up at that one day and we walk into it, the sound of frogs heard from the pond.

Vikk leads me over to a bench near the pond, surrounded by trees so that it seemed like we were in an actual forest except for the, now distant cars.

"This place is beautiful" I said as I place my head on his shoulders.

"Yeah, I like to come out here for some alone time. The guys don't know about this place and I haven't ran into anyone out here get" he says with and I could hear the smile in his voice.

"Alex, I need to ask you something" he says sounding sorta serious.

"Yeah" I said taking my head off of his shoulders. He stares into my eyes and I could see the light of fireflies flying around us in his eyes, making them sparkle.

"Will you do the honors of being my girlfriend" he asks.

"I would be honored to" I said in a posh accent. He chuckles before he leans in. I lean towards him, kissing him. I put my arms around his neck as he put his on my waist.

When we pull apart, we put our foreheads together. I smile before I give him a peck on the cheeks. I give him a hug.

I stand up yawning.

"I think it's time to go home" Vikk says.

"Yeah" I said. We walk home and up to our rooms. I give him a kids before I go into my room and pass out on my bed.
