I sit down on the hotel white hotel bed. I just woke up from a nights rest. We have been staying here for 3 days now. We have been asking around for a lake that we were described...but last night I was reminded about the loon statue next to the lake so I guess we will ask around for a lake that has a giant loon.
I get up from the bed that I am sharing with Vik and get a Gray tanktop out that says bittersweet in a cool font, light blue shorts that have floral designs all over the front and on one back pocket, blue converses, a necklace that says moon child, and I put my hair up in a ponytail.
I change into the clothes in the bathroom and do my business before I leave the hotel room. Since they dont have a hotel in pelican we have been staying in Detroit Lakes or D.L as the folks around here says it.
I go down the elevator to the main floor, making a ding noise every level. We were on level 5 so it's not that bad.
I step our of the elevator and get in our car where Adam was waiting. It was his turn to drive and I wanted to go alone today, especially after all the visions that we've been having. Were picking up Tori first because she's our guide person. We told her everything that has happened with the blade and why we need to get it. All she said was...a real adventure YAY..because she is stuck at her home for most of the time and she just stays in and watched YouTube or plays Video games since there is nothing else to do.
The back door opens and Tori good in.
"So you find anything yet?" she asks as she buckles up.
"Well I had another dream last night, there was a giant loon.. I think it was a loon anyways," I said as I turned to look at her.
"Giant bird huh, I know a lake with a giant loon," she said as she typed stuff into maps on her phone. She hands it to me and I see that she set navigation system to Vergas. I set her phone on the console as Adam pulls out of the drive way.
As we were a mile out of town I got the feeling of someone watching me. I look around the very nice view but I didn't see anyone so I shrugged it off.
I know, it's short. Not even half the size but I didn't want to keep skipping randomly so this is it for da chapter.
