Chapter 1 : A place to stay

We sneaked in my bedroom, by the window stayed wide opened because I stupidly forgot to close it. But that didn't mater at all, I could have Edward and Alphonse Elric with me easily like this!! Ah! I was so excited!! Silently, I entered, checked everyone was sleeping tight, then gestured them to come as well. Edward got in very easily, but for Alphonse.... He stayed stuck in the middle of the too small window for him and we had to help him getting inside. What was hard enough, as a giant suit of armor could make a lot of noise... And unfortunately, my mother woke up... I heard a knock on my door and, by reflex, I threw my blanket on the two and waited for the wooden surface to be opened.

-Kathleen? What's with the noise?

-Ah erm... I woke you up mom? Hehe...

-Why aren't you in your pajamas?

-Well... I couldn't sleep so I... Went outside to see the stars?

-And... Why did you throw your blanket on the floor...?

-I just wanted to build a... Cabin.... Yeah. A small cabin... In my bedroom... But don't worry I'll clean the mess!!

-I hope so. Go to sleep now Kathleen.

-Of course mom!!

I sighed in relief as she shut the door tightly. As they heard the "click" noise, Edward and Alphonse went out of under the blanket, the first one red as a tomato and panting heavily.

-It was a oven inside this hell!!

-Yeah yeah... Well sorry but if you didn't want to be discovered then-

The door opened brusquely and the main characters of FMA just got the time to go back under the blanket as my mother entered.

-Who was it Kathleen? And don't try to lie.

-Just my phone mom... I said as I grabbed it, I was watching and episode of FMAB and I forgot my earphones so erm...

She didn't seem to believe me. Crap....

-I thought you were supposed to sleep Kathleen! she half yelled not to wake the entire house.

-But mother I.... I cannot sleep!! It's too hot!!

-Then open your window!

-It is opened mother!

-Then there's no reason you cannot sleep!

I didn't answer anything and put my phone back on the nightstand before getting into my bed, mumbling few words under my mouth.

-Night.... I growled before shutting the light off.

That forces my mother to get out of my room and I could remove the blanket from Edward and Alphonse's hot bodies.

-Sorry sorry... I whispered.

-You don't seem to have good relations with your mom do you? Edward noted.

-Well.... Actually not really.... We often argue...

-With our mother, we were sometimes arguing too, Alphonse explained looking down, but then she used to hug us...

I nodded then smiled slightly.

-Let's see how you can sleep tonight, I proposed.

Few minutes later, I was laying in my bed, looking at the ceiling, as Edward is next to me, snoring lightly. I giggled and Alphonse looked at me.

-Sorry for my brother's childish personality... he apologized.

I shook my head.

-Don't worry, it's fine for me to share my bed! But what about you Alphonse? I know you cannot sleep so...

-It's fine for me! I'm used to it anyway...

I looked at him a while before smiling and resting my head on the pillow.

-Don't hesitate if you need something, okay? I said quietly.

-Alright, he nodded.

I fell asleep not long after, my face buried in Edward's back.

I woke up because of a growling next to me. I opened my eyes and saw a moving Edward in front of me, trying apparently to get off my grip.

-Ooops... Sorry sorry, I thought you were a plushy! I joked.

-Yeah yeah.... he groaned getting out of the bed.

Alphonse raised his head toward us.

-Morning you two!

-Morning Alphonse! I greeted back.

-You slept well?

-This girl is a pain to sleep with!! She kicks you every five minutes!! Edward complained.

-Well if you aren't happy, sleep on the floor, I pouted.

-Guys.... Alphonse sighed.

I giggled and got out of the bed, stretching my limbs. I then put a hand under my chin, thinking about what we would do today and how they would live in our world. It'd be even more difficult when school will begin again for me, where would I hide them? And it's not I didn't trust them, but I was scared they might do something wrong when I'd be gone... I sighed. Now was not the time.

-Um Kathleen? Something wrong? Alphonse asked.

I shook my head, smiling brightly.

-Not at all! Wait a little guys, I'm going to take a quick shower! I said as I waved them.

I went in the bathroom and turned on the water. I then stepped in the shower after having removed my pajamas and sighed, enjoying the hot contact of the water with my bare skin. But true enough, I wouldn't be able to take care of the FMA characters for a very long time... And what if other characters came here too? What would I do? That would be rather difficult... Mostly if they were homunculi... After about ten minutes, I went out and checked the clock. Six in the morning, it was early fir holidays... But well, it couldn't be helped. My parents were supposed to be still sleeping, as well as my big brother. I still had some times before real morning. Arriving in front of the door of my room, I heard weird sounds and a gasp from Edward. I raised an eyebrow and quickly opened the door to see two panicked Elric brothers. I frowned slightly and then it hit me.

-Where's Alphonse....? I mean the armor...? I askd looking at the nearly naked guy in front of me.

Of course, I knew it was Alphonse's human body but... What the hell?? It was like the end of the manga, his body was in a very bad state... Taking him to the nearest hospital would be suspect, and on top of that, it was situated at twenty kilometers from here! That didn't help...

-And we cannot do alchemy anymore.... Edward said sadly.

Well. Okay. No blue sparks in my bedroom and nothing destroyed at least. Without even thinking, I threw the towel that was on my head on the bed and went out to look for some consistant meal for Alphonse. I'd have to help him, I had to... And it would be better if i could find them "normal" clothes to wear. I meant... Who wouldn't be surprised by a guy walking in a red coat and another one, well... Without clothes? No no no... I was happy I lived in the country for once, no one knew FMA, at least I hoped... Except me and.... I bumped into someone as I was carying a cereal bowl. Ah yeah... And my brother....
