Chapter 4 : School, the hell begins

We succeeded, my brother and I, at keeping Ed, Al and Winry's presence secret here during all the summer holidays. But now, unfortunately, school was going to begin in a week and we surely wouldn't be able to hide them anymore. I was thinking about that, sat under a tree, when Jayce came toward me, three piles of papers in his hands, smiling brightly. I raised an eyebrow at him. What the hell did this idiot do again?

-I have great news! he said proudly.

-And? Hurry we don't have all the day!

-Sure sure... I announce you that our three favorite friends are now officially students in your school! I even got them in your future class!

I was so shocked no sound came out from my mouth. I couldn't believe that! How would I take care of them?! It was just an impossible mission... I sighed deeply, now fully depressed. Why did he have to be so idiot?!

-Well... Isn't this great? he asked seeing my soul coming out of my body.

-No it's not! What if someone recognize them? Or what if... I don't know it just sounds so bad right now! It smells like troubles!!

-Wowow calm down Kathleen! Don't worry you forget that no one here knows anything about manga or anime. It will be fine, you'll see!

-It's easy for you, you're in college, you won't have to bear them!

-Well, and? I know you'll do it! he winked.

This was going to be the crappiest situation ever...

At six in the morning, my alarm rang. I cut the sound and stretched, ready for my first day in school. On the mattress on the ground, Winry groaned, moving slightly. I shook her a little for her to awake. We couldn't afford to be late the first day.

-What is it Kathleen...?

-You have to wake up and get ready because today is when school starts again and I don't want us to be late.

The blonde girl sighed and get out of the bed. From the bedroom next to mine, I could hear growls of protest as well and my brother laughing. But well, I could guess it wouldn't be more dangerous than fighting against immortal homunculi in a desert laboratory right? School wasn't as scary as this.... Right? I sighed and headed toward the bathroom to take a quick shower. But unfortunately, I didn't know what my brother told the two brothers about shower, but they entered right after me, while I was removing my pajamas. I glared at them and threw them out with a fist in each one's head.

-It's my shower turn!! I shouted but not too loud for my parents not to wake up.

I then slammed the door to their face, making sure I locked it correctly, before stepping in the shower and turning the hot water on. Humming the first opening of the Brotherhood series, I quickly cleaned myself and finished to let the shower to whoever wanted. Silently, I went in the kitchen to prepare breakfast. Usually, my parents woke up when I was already at school, it wasn't a problem for me then. Their common job asked them to travel a lot, that's why they could sleep a little more than others. The three friends arrived few minutes after and I was surprised they were so fast with the shower, but I didn't question them and just put a cup of milk in front of each one. Ed groaned and frowned.

-What? I asked raising my eyebrow and putting a hand on my hips.

-Milk.... I hate it.... he said.

-I know and I don't mind. You'll drink it.

-But...

-No but or I shove it into your mouth!!

He gulped and swallowed the entire cup without breathing. I smirked, satisfied, as he sent me a death glare. I bet he was wishing to break my head at this very moment... Al looked at him, sweating a little as he drank it as well. But there wasn't any problem with him. Winry, her, was smiling darkly at Ed who was nearly throwing up because of how much he hated milk. It made me laugh. Jayce got ready as well and he brought us to the bus stop in his car before heading to his college.

-Have a nice week bro! I waved him smiling.

He waved me back and quickly drive away from us. He stayed all the week in the dorms of his college and only came back the weekend. So from now on we wouldn't see him a lot anymore. Moreover, he had to work very hard and couldn't barely talk to me even when he was here... Anyway, our bus arrived and we got in. It would directly send us to school, we didn't have to worry about changing or anything. I comfortably sat on a sit next to Winry's as the two brothers sat next to each other. What I still didn't understand was how we could get all the material for three other persons without our parents noticing! From the school bags to the pencil cases, passing through the pens, I thought we did a good job and stayed discreet. I nodded at myself as I played with my phone, waiting a little. One day, we would have to find them phones too, and this day, I didn't know how we would do because phones weren't supposed to be cheap... When we finally arrived, my friends were amazed in front of the huge building which was now their school too. I smiled and promised to make them visit, but for now, we had to find our class. Amazingly (I didn't know if it was a coincidence or not) we began with physics, and the teacher was also our homeroom teacher. I sighed a little. With those two brothers, I could already tell this was going to be more than hard... Plus, unfortunately, we began with a test to know our level in this  subject. I was t good, but I wasn't bad either. The one who could be proud to be the best, last year, was the girl I hated the most here. Lily Vianelli. She would have some problems now that Edward and Alphonse Elric were in the class....!!

//hello guys! I could finally write a chapter here! I guess my writer's block is gone (for now at least) and I just want to warn you that after next weekend, my updates will be a little random. I mean, I go somewhere where the Internet connection is so bad I don't even know if it's useful to take my phone XD that's it for now, bye dear readers!!
