I Thought We Were Friends

P.O.V Shiro
I walked into the classroom with my cat in one hand and my red umbrella in the other, I had returned just after finishing talking with Akene on the phone on the roof. Everyone was busy and working on something.

"Huh?" everyone stopped what they were doing and turned towards me. "Class hasn't been held?"

"We have the afternoon off to prep for the school festival." a classmate explained. "Give us a hand."

"Sorry!" Kukuri apologized as she held open the classroom door. Everyone turned to her. "Can someone run an errand for the Student Council? Is anyone available?"

She raised her hand up. Once again everyone's attention was on me. I blinked twice and tilted my head to the side in confusion.

"It should be right...here." Kukuri scrolled throw her PDA. "Shiro-kun I'm sending you the list."

BEEP! RING!

"There." nothing happened. "Huh?"

I checked my pockets and came up empty. I put my umbrella under my arm and checked the pockets of my blazer.

"That's weird."

"What is it? Don't you have your PDA?" she asked. I laughed nervously. "I'll write it down then."

She started to write the list down on a notepad.

"But you need to find your PDA first. You can't leave the school without it."

I ripped the slip of note paper with the list on it out of the pad and smiled at her.

"It's no problem."

I opened the one door that didn't need a PDA.

"No problem at all." I tossed the keys up and down in my hand.

"All righty, then..." I studied the list. "Go to Kagitama Shop over in Shizume Town to pick up fireworks for the event. Hand them the voucher money. Then report back to the Ashinaka High School Student Council and give them the receipt."

I stopped and looked out at the view from the bridge. There was beautiful crystal blue ocean all around. The sun's rays and baby blue sky was adding even more beauty. I yawned and stretched my arms over my head.

"It's so nice out today." I took in the view. "Oh, yeah the receipt. Get the receipt and be back at six."

I waited with a big line to cross the road. I pulled out the list.

"To get there I need to... turn right by the big TV..." I looked up. I was near the big TV. I crossed the road. I walked along with the crowd. Something shiny was coming from the building a head of me. I stopped to look at it. I blinked twice, confused.

"Come again!" the shop own said.

"Thanks." I walked backwards out of the store and spun around. I reached down at my bag.

KLING!

I turned my head around in a nick of time. A guy on a skateboard with bat in his hand swung it at me. The bat nearly hit me, but it missed and broke the store's window. I fell down on to the ground. The skater guy with a beanie on started to get back up. He groaned. He rested his bat on his shoulder and  looked down at  his watch. He was checking something.

"Tch." he sounded annoyed. "Huh."

He smirked. My eyes widened.

"I've seen him before, but where?" I thought. I blinked twice.
