"Hey, Yata can you help me?" I asked.

"Sure." Yata got up off the couch and came in the bedroom. "What do you need?"

"Go on the other side, please." I said. Yata when on the other side of the bed. We pulled up the sheets then the comforter.

"Catch!" Yata throw a pillow at me. I laughed, caught it and set it on the bed. We continue to repeat this with all the other pillows. "Last one!"

Yata was about to throw it.

RING! RING!

Yata checked the caller ID.

"I got to take this." Yata throw the pillow at me, then walked into the living room. I set the pillow down with the rest of them on the bed. Then went into the living room.

"Okay, got it." Yata hung up.

"Who was that?" I asked.

"Izumo, he says his got something on Totsuka's murder."

"That's good, every clue we find the closer we're get."

"But, you don't even know what the murder looks like." a voice in my head reminded me.

"I got to go, I'll see you later." Yata grabbed his skateboard.

"Hey Yata, what does the murder look like?" I asked. He stopped.

"Um... Akene, I'm kinda in a hurry. I got to go, sorry." he avoided the question and left my apartment as quickly as possible.

"That was strange." I was left dumb founded.

"He's hiding something from you."

"No, he's not. He wouldn't."

"You're finding something from him. Why should he hide something from you."

"Shut up!" I shouted. My brain quieted down. I checked the clock.

"Shit, I'm going to be late!" I though as I hurried out the door with skateboarding hand. I locked the door and skated away.

"Akene!" Shiro got up from the booth.

"Hey Shiro." I greeted as I kicked up my skateboard. He hugged me. "Did you order?"

"No, I was waiting for you." he said as we sat back down. I've been seeing Shiro for lunch for awhile now. He reminded me of Totsuka and eased the pain. Shiro's a great and helpful friend.

"I'm here now, let's order." I said. We ordered. The service here was fast.

As we eat we chatted.

"I've got to go to the bathroom." Shiro got up and walked to the bathroom. I poked my food with a fork. I didn't really feel that hungry.

"Why won't Yata in form me about the kill?" I wondered. "If I know I could catch the person ten minutes flat."

"Are you okay!" Shiro asked. He got back into the booth. My head snapped up.

"Um..."

"It's okay if you don't want to tell me. I was just wondering, because you seem a mixture of sadness and anger." Shiro noticed. He was another person that could see through me.
