You Meet Him For The First Time

Today was the day that you'd get to meet the guy you've been talking to on Instagram for a while now. Your friend Kat had set you guys up to meet each other today. You've been texting him the whole time today since you've been at school, and he said he'd come and see you after school.

Finally it's your last period of school and then you get to see perhaps your future boyfriend. Just counting down the minutes made you smile so big people probably thought you were a freak. Finally your teacher dismissed the class and you ran out the door. You stopped to apply perfume before meeting Kellin. And you continued to walk and look for him. This was the first time you'd meet him! You were texting him to see where he was going to meet you and finally you see a figure with his hoodie on riding his skateboard. You smiled as you figured it was him. You texted him and walked over to him as he was on his phone. He looked up and you waved so he'd know it was you. You just about died when you saw him look up at you and smile as you both walked towards each other and hugged for a long time. And then you both walked to meet Kat by your locker as you talked about random stuff on the way. He was about the same height as you, but a little taller. He had dark brown hair and he was way cuter in person. As you went to your locker and met Kat, the three of you walked across the street to where your mom's friend was picking you up from school. As you were waiting for the light to change so you could walk Kellin put his head on your shoulder. You didn't know what to do but smile and put your fingers through his hair. You weren't paying attention until you heard him say something about you guys dating. You looked up immediately surprised and said "WHAT?" He smiled and replied with "nothing." That was weird... Well now you saw your mom's friend's car and had to say goodbye. You told Kellin that you couldn't do anything else but hug for right now. You hugged your best friend Kat and then hugged Kellin for a long time. Then you got into the car hoping she wouldn't say anything. And she didn't until later.

"Is that a boyfriend?" She asked as she was driving you to your place.

"No.." You replied unsure.

"Oh well he's cute." You looked at her with a smile and laughed.

"Okay, fine, maybe...you can't tell mom." You replied still smiling.

"Oh I won't, not even your dad either." She replied also smiling.

"Could you tell?" You ask her.

"I've had kids before (Y/N) I know when it's a boy." She smiled and laughed.

"Well mom can't tell." You replied.

She started asking about where he went to school, if he was in school and how old he was. You were a sophomore in high school and he was a junior.. Who was 19. He started school two years late because his mom didn't think he was ready and he ditched a lot sophomore year. And you were 16. But you couldn't tell her that. Finally you made it to your place and said thank you and goodbye. And as you were going up the stairs you got a text from Kat and Kellin. Apparently Kat gave Kellin a ride home and they were talking about me to Kat's mom and how she should be a match maker. You couldn't stop smiling it was great. Kat said she'd call you later and tell you what happened. And then you got a text that said "Cutie ❤️❤️" and you smiled cause you knew it was Kellin.

~ Later ~

You knew that Kellin lived by another high school that was down the street from where you lived. So you sent him a picture of the map from your place to it and he said he'd come over by 5:30. You were so excited. You went outside to call Kat and she told you everything that happened in the car. And then you guys were just talking about Kellin and what he likes and his past relationships and stuff like that to pass time. You told her how he was going to come and see you later and so you had to get ready. You went back up the stairs as it was raining and Kat was teasing you.

"OOHH you better go and get ready for Kellin, (Y/N)." She said into the phone.

"Haha I am right now." You smiled.

"Have funnnn." She replied as you both laughed and said goodbye.

You fixed your makeup and changed into a different jacket because it was now raining outside. You adjusted your hair as well and then waiting for Kellin to text you to say he was here. You couldn't believe he would actually come and see you. You got the text and went down the stairs. You heard a skateboard as you walked out and you knew it was him. You both saw each other and hugged for a while and then walked across the street to get Starbucks. It was now getting dark and started to sprinkle. You ordered yourself a caramel frap and a hot chocolate for Kellin since he didn't know what he wanted. You were both waiting for your drinks as the cashier and employees were looking at you guys weirdly. You ignored it not caring and got your drinks and sat at a table outside in the corner to be away from everyone.

As you guys were enjoying your starbucks you were talking about video games, what bands/ music you liked, a lot of things. You felt like you were being annoying talking too much or too fast. You just enjoyed the little moments sitting with him. He was wearing a gray beanie and the same hoodie from earlier. It felt as if you both had been friends for a while. There wasn't awkward silence and he would always try and start a conversation with you. He told you he had to go and walked with you in front of your place. You both hugged and he started shivering.

"Oh my god. Kellin! Why didn't you tell me you were cold we could have gone inside! I'm so sorry." You felt so bad he was shivering 😭

"It's okay. You keep me warm." You were both hugging for a long time just enjoying each other and not wanting to let go. It was raining still but you didn't care. Kellin would occasionally pull away and look at you but you would just pull him in for a hug again. You kissed his cheek and he kissed your nose. And then..

He. Fucking. Kissed. You.

It all happened so fast you had no idea what you were doing. You kissed back, more like tried to. This was your first kiss!! You even had your eyes opened whoops. You didn't know what to do! You were freaking out inside. He kissed you three times in a row and then pulled away.

"I can't kiss." You explained the obvious.

"Neither can I." He admitted.

"Yes you can. PSH." You smiled at him. He pulled you in for another kiss.

"There you go." He smiled as he kissed you again making you feel confident.

You pulled him in for another hug and then he put his hands in your jacket pockets.

"Ahh warmth." He said. You laughed at his cuteness. You put your hands inside your pockets and placed them over his. He connected your fingers and pulled them out of your pockets. You were both holding hands and kissed again. And as you were both walking away from each other your hands detached.

You were still freaking out inside and as soon as he left you immediately called Kat. She answered.

"KAT KAT KAT KAT KAT!" You yelled into the phone.

"...did he kiss you..?" She asked.

"YES LIKE 6 FUCKING TIMES!" You smiled at the thought.

"That was my first kiss Kat. And I had no idea what I was doing." You replied.

"Well it takes practice." She replied.

You told her everything that happened. You guys both talked on the phone for a while and then Kat texted you later saying that Kellin texted her saying he kissed you. She said that he said he wanted to keep kissing you and the whole time with you was amazing. ❤️
