"Bellamy!" A voice yells from outside the tent, waking me from my sleep.

Bellamy shoots up at the sound of his sisters voice and dresses quickly. I throw the covers off of me and throw my shoes on, tying the laces. Bellamy pulls back the flap of the tent and we both walk out into the camp.

"Bellamy, look." Octavia says, pointing up towards the sky.

I tilt my head back and look up at the dark sky. Something, obviously very bright, is falling down towards us. It looks to be in the shape of an air craft, but I couldn't be sure.

"Is that a shooting star?" Someone asks.

"No, I think it's the Ark." Octavia replies.

"Now we can kick some Grounder ass!" Fox says.

"Please tell me they brought some shampoo." Harper groans.

"Get some gear." I command towards some of the guys standing near me. "We're going to need weapons, just incase whoever is on that drop ship has the wrong idea."

"It's too small to be a drop ship." Harper says.

"I'm thinking cargo pod." Monty says.

"It's probably nutrition packs, medical supplies." I guess.

"There'd be a radio." Monty says.

My face lights up, "We could talk to the Ark."

"That is if the radio wasn't fried in the landing." Monty says.

"We're not alone down here anymore." Octavia sighs.

"That's a good thing." I whisper.

The strange thing of this whole event was that Bellamy stood silent the whole time. No show of relief or anger coming from him. Just complete emotionless.

"If it cleared the Ridge, it's probably near the lake." One of the guys I had commanded to get weapons says.

"We should get moving." I suggest.

"No one's going anywhere." Bellamy says, stopping us. "Not while its dark."

"Everyone for 100 miles saw that thing come down. What if the Grounders get to it first Bell?" I ask, trying to get my point across.

"I said that we wait." Bellamy says, anger flashing over his eyes and his tone of voice rising a bit.

I look into his eyes, mine filled with disappointment. I glare hard before dropping my knives at his feet and turning, throwing the flap of our tent back and throwing my shoes back off, crawling back into bed.

I lied in that bed for hours, my eyes wide open, waiting for Bellamy, who was lying next to me, to make a move. I know Bellamy too well and I know he isn't going to just let that cargo pod with people in it sit there without doing anything. Since we've gotten down here he's down everything in his power to make sure the people of the Ark think we're all dead. Why would he stop at this?

I can see the little brinks of sunlight pouring through the crack in the tent when I feel the bed shift and here Bellamy begin getting dressed, as quietly as possible. He works like a snake before grabbing multiple knives and pulling the flap of the tent back and running out, exiting camp. I stare through the crack and watch as his figure jogs out of the wall and into the forest. Just as he is almost out of eyesight I rip the covers off of me and throw my shoes on. I load myself with weapons before jogging after him.

It doesn't take me very long to find him. I monitor every step I take, careful not to step on a stick or hard leaf. I moved around by the trees. Every time I think he's was going to turn around, I would dive behind a tree, always making it there on time.

I see the little cargo ship just ahead and Bellamy only yards away from it.

"Bellamy!" I growl, finally showing myself.

"What the absolute hell are you doing here?" Bellamy yells, turning to see me with wide eyes. His tone is harsh and I couldn't help but feel a slight bit of hurt from his words.

"I'm here to make sure you don't do something stupid." I say crossing my arms across my chest.

"Oh, really?" He laughs striding the few extra yards over to me.

"I know what you're doing." I say, looking him dead in the face.

"And what is that?" He asks, his eyebrow arching.

"You want the radio. You're going to destroy it so we can't contact the Ark." I say attitude dripping from every word. "Why do you not want us to contact the Ark so badly, Bellamy? It could possibly be the only way we're going to survive down here."

"If the Ark finds out we're alive, they'll come down here." Bellamy plainly says.

"So what?" I ask.

"When they come down here, I'm dead." Bellamy says.

My eyebrows crease together and my stance and mad act falter slightly.

"What do you mean?" I ask, trying hard to contain the fright in my voice.

"I shot him." Bellamy says, looking at the ground. "I shot Jaha."

"What?" I gasped. "You did what?!"

"I found out they were sending all of you down to Earth. I couldn't let Octavia come down here alone." Bellamy scrambled for words, looking for the right thing to say to justify what he did.

"Bellamy...this is insane." I say, shock taking over me.

"Just let me explain, okay." Bellamy says. I nod slightly and he continues with the story. "Someone came to me with a deal. Kill him, and they'd get me on the drop ship...And I did it."

"You killed him?" I say, not able to combust the disgust in my voice.

"He deserved it." Bellamy mumbles. "Tatum?"

I turned away. "I...I can't look at you right now."

"Tatum...please.." Bellamy begins.

"Bellamy!" I interrupt. "Just...don't." I say, before storming off in the direction of the camp. My storming turning into running.

How could this happen? I know that everyone here hates Jaha. I even hate Jaha. But, Jaha is the only hope the Ark has of surviving. The only hope that my mother has of surviving. Our only hope. How could he do this? I know Bellamy's done things. I've done things that I regret. But Bellamy doesn't sound like he regrets what he did at all.

A million things run through my mind as I come upon the river that Octavia almost died in our first day on Earth. I sit on one of the rocks and watch as the water flows, silently. I bring my knees to my chest and rest my head on my knee caps.
