Chapter 10

I drove to my house as fast as I could.

"Ma, we going to the park later on this evening with Trinity's parents and her sisters and hopefully her brother." I yelled as soon as i walked in the door.

"Okay!" I heard the screan from upstairs than the door slammed. I guess they were busy.

"Be ready at 5!" I said as I walked into my room. I went to my bathroom and took a quick shower than pulled my hair into a pony tail. I was feeling different today. I grabbed my high waisted stone washed shorts and my white short that was a bow. It stopped above my belly button. Than I put on some blue lip stick and my mascara and eye liner. It was already 4:45 when I finished. I was soo nervous.

"Jayde." I heard a knock on the door. "You ready?"

"Yea, I said opening my door and stepping out. Erin looked me up and down.

"You look cute baby girl. I knew I passed down something." I just laughed. My mama, Alex, couldnt dress at all. She looked like a grandma. If it wasnt for Erin she would just look rediculous all the time. We walked down the stairs and got in Erins BMW and headed to James E. Williams park. It was the closes park within ten miles of our community.

As soon as we parked and headed to the picnic area Tyrell and Tryella came running to me.

"Hey!" They said in unisom as I bent down to hug them. "Trinity said your gonna talk to my mom and dad and that when you guys are done we can play with you."

"Yea! After we talk I'll play with you." I just hoped that we got to the playing part.

"Oh, hello Travis." My mothers both said in unisom. "I didnt know Trinity was your daughter."

"Oh, yea thats my baby." His eyes narrowed. "Wait, so its true?"

"Whats true?" Erin said.

"That you too are m-m-married? People say it at the office, but i dont believe them. Surely to beautiful women like your selves have husbands."

"Um." Said Alex. "Yea, I guess it is. We've been together since we were both 17. So that makes 10 years." Alex smiled. Holding Erin's hand.

"Awww, thats cute." Said Trinity's mom.

"Hey, Jayde." Trinity skipped over to me and kissed me on the lips. Everything stopped. My parents moutha dropped open and Trinity's dad did the same. Her mom just looked with a crooked smile.

"TRINITY!" Yell Travis. "Your. Your. Lesbian?" He didnt look happy. His face looked full of disgust.

"No, Im bi." She said plainly. I was looking so shocked.

"W-w-when did this happen? Did you let her." He pointed to me. "Influence you?"

"Stop. Pause. Travis have some respect that her is my daughter and she has a name. Your daughter is old enough to make her own decisions and choose her own relationships. Now, you need to start talking like you have some common since dont play with her." Alex, said stepping closer to Travis with Erin right behind her. Yea, we stayed in a fancy gated place, but my mother's were from the hood and it showed when something ticked them off.

"Im sorry, I didnt mean to offend you." Said Travis.

"Baby, Im soo proud of you! I had my suspicions and all but now its confirmed! As long as your happy, Im happy."

"Lilly Mae! How could you be proud of that?"

"Shut the fuck up Travis. Too many parents loose there kids becauae they cant except who they are. Im not going to loose my daughter just because of her sexual orientation. So shut that shit up." She looked like she wore the pants in that house. I giggled slightly before he looked at me and walked to his car and drove off.

"Well that went better than expected." Laughed Trinity.. "Thanks mom." She hugged her mom.

"Anything for you."
