I am sitting with Taylor, Alex and Jake at lunch. Jenna and Sadie are sitting ten tables away. They haven't talked to any of us since yesterday. Amanda got sent to ward three, a place where the actual crazy people go.
"I still don't understand why you sit with us, Forest. If you sat with them, it would be even. Three guys, three girls." Taylor says. I shrug. "Sadie won't talk to me, either. I'm gonna ask one of the nurses if I can room with Jake." I said, as if Jake weren't sitting right there. "They don't let opposite sexes room together." I bit my nails and shook my head. "I don't even know if I like guys," I say absentmindedly. All three boys' eyes widen and stare at me. "So, you're questioning your sexuality?" Taylor says and wraps his arm around my shoulder. "I was there, once. Sixth grade, in the locker room--" Jake cuts him off. "Dude, I'm pretty sure Forest doesn't want to hear how you jerked off to Robert Pattenson posters." Taylor's face reddens. "I did not do that! Jake's just mad because he can't fuck Forest 'cause she's a lesbian!" I butt in. "Hey! I never said I was a lesbian! I might just be asexual or something," I mumbled the last part. "I don't wanna fuck Forest! I barely know her. Of course you would say something like that, Taylor. Dirty mind." Alex yells at us. "Shut up! All of you! Jeez, you give me a headache."
I get up. "I'm gonna go talk to nurse Melinda." And I leave.

Two hours later, I'm moving my things intoJake's room. He says he's cool with it. Anything to get me away from Sadie's wrath. We're messing around. It's just after curfew. They want to help me figure out my sexuality. A girl arrived here this morning, and to our luck, she's pansexual. She's with us too. Her name is Luna. She's got purple hair.
"Okay, Forest. First, you're gonna kiss Alex for at least five seconds. Then you're gonna try and see if you feel anything. Besides his boner." Alex hits Taylor with a pillow. He laughs. "Then, you're doing the same with Luna Tuna." He gave her a nickname earlier and it kind of stuck. I shrug. "Alright."
Alex leans toward me and I lean, too. Our lips connect and I could tell he'd just brushed his teeth or something. He places his hand on my hips. He trails his tongue along my bottom lip and my lips part, letting him slip his tongue in my mouth. We pull away and he wipes his mouth. "You taste like cinnamon." He says and chuckles. I raise an eyebrow. "Thank you?" We laugh.
"That was some nice action," Taylor mocks us. I roll my eyes. "So what'd ya feel? Anything?" I shake my head. "Nothing." Alex fake-frowns. "There goes my self-esteem." We all laugh along with him. I move onto Luna. She's really pretty, with long hair and green eyes. She's tan, too, unlike the rest of us, who're paler than paper.
She's not sweet and gentle like Alex. She sits on my lap, and kisses my neck. My eyes flutter close, and it feels good. The boys awkwardly cough or turn away. She places her hands on my waist and then moves her lips to mine. She deepens the kiss. Then she pulls away. We look at the boys and they're covering their ears and eyes. "We're done now." Luna laughs. I am still sitting, trying to catch my breath. "Results?" Taylor asks. "A little bit. I might be greysexual." I say.
