*imagines all of the readers angrily storming my house*
Sorry I have posted I've been busy aru "^^
HERE WE GOOOOOO
You hummed a tune as you walked through the streets of your hometown. You smiled at your neighbors and continued the walk toward the local water well.
The well was secluded on the top of a hill underneath a cherry blossom tree. It gave a beautiful view of the sunset, and the breeze was magnificent. You started walking up the hill.
Upon reaching the top, you started to pull up the water bucket while setting down your own bucket. You then filled your bucket with the water from the pulled up bucket.
You proceeded to repeat these steps a couple more times until your bucket was filled. You then slowly dropped the bucket back down into the well and wiped a hand over your forehead.
Suddenly, you heard a crack behind you and you abruptly turned around. Standing in front of you, staring at you, was a man with straight black hair and deep brown eyes. You blinked and paused for a second.
"Who are you?" You asked the man. He slightly smiled.
"My name is Kiku. What's your's, hana?" Kiku replied.
"(Y/n)."
"That is a very beautifur name. Mind if I ask where it is from?"
"It is my mother's name. She died while giving birth to me."
Kiku nodded solemnly. "Ah yes, I am sorry for your ross. I am sure that your mother was a very nice woman."
You nodded, too. You turned and gazed at the sunset. As you looked out at the sky, you felt Kiku's presence next to you.
You both fell into a small silence as the sun sank slowly into the sky. As the breeze picked up, you decided that it would be best to return back to your father with the water you collected.
"I should be going. It was nice to meet you, Kiku. Where do you live? I might be able to come over and we could talk more," you offered. You turned to him and noticed that he was starin at you.
You felt a bit of a blush creep up on your cheeks as you caught his gaze. Kiku grinned a little.
"Oh, I don't rive anywhere near here. I was just passing through." Kiku turned back to the sun. You nodded and set off down the hill.
"I'll see you around I guess," you waved your free hand, the one not clutching the bucket, and headed down the hill.
As you reached the town square, you passed a sign. Glancing at it, you saw a familiar set of eyes and straight hair. You took a double-take and stared at the picture.
Under it, the sign said:
New Royal Prince Appointed
You blinked and looked back up to the hill. Kiku's silhouette was still standing at the top in the sunlight.
You smiled to yourself and continued to your small house.
Prince, huh?
