You walked down the street in a daydream, as always, not really paying attention to anything around you. Because of this, you didn't hear your name being called. And you definitely didn't see the man running toward you.
You were knocked aside abruptly and fell to the ground, landing on your back facing a tall man with blonde hair and piercing eyes. It took a moment for you to catch your breath and focus your vision, but as soon as you did, you blushed.
"Hey (Y/n)," he said. You blinked and smiled a little.
"Hey, Nether," you replied back, using his nickname that you had given him.
Netherlands got up and brushed himself off, then outstretched a hand to you. You grabbed his hand and he yanked you upward and into his arms.
You both laughed and looked at each other.
"Hey," Netherlands breathed out. He was lost in your eyes and you in his.
"Hey," you whispered, barely audible.
You both leaned in a little closer, and then....
BELGIUM.
A waffle was sprung at you two and it hit you in the face. It was silent for a second before Netherlands burst out laughing. Belgium crept out from behind a bush.
"Hehehe... Sorry (Y/n). But not really," Belgium snickered. You whipped the waffle from your face and chased after Belgium.
"YOU GET BACK HERE YOU WAFFLE SMUGGLING HEDGEHOG!"
