It was a Friday night and also the night before Emily and I would be seeing Judas Priest. I found out that Corey and his friends would be meeting up with us there. I asked him if he was bringing his friend Jim which earned me a funny look from him. I simply told him Emily had a crush on him which made him laugh cause apparently Jim has the same feelings for Emily. Hell yeah!
I was currently at Emily's house getting ready with her. Corey (reluctantly) invited me to a little bar tonight to see his band play. I was excited and anxious. Little by little he was welcoming me more into his life and I didn't really know how to feel. This is what I wanted, right?
"Relax Liv. We're gonna have fun tonight and even more fun tomorrow night! Best weekend ever here we come" she was extra giddy. She was getting to see Jim tonight and didn't seem nervous one bit. I admired her for that.
"I know Em, I'm just worried about getting in." Emily and I had gotten some fake ids made earlier today but I was so skeptical. How obvious was it that they were fake? Oh god...
"Hey don't get all anxious on me okay? Trust me, it's gonna work. And if it doesn't, Corey will understand and you and I can catch a movie or something" that made me laugh. She was right, we'd be fine. I think.
I had just finished doing my hair and did a double check in the mirror. I did my makeup a little darker in hopes that it would make me look older than I was.
Em and I had gone shopping earlier and I wasn't exactly keen on my outfit that she picked out but I did look pretty good in it. I looked almost 20 rather than 17.

I felt like a whole entire different person at this point. I had never put so much effort into my appearance.
"Damn we look good. Wait till Corey gets a look at you" she winked, making me blush.
"Let's go" I smiled, linking my arm into hers.

I have no idea how but we had gotten into the bar squeaky clean and no questions were asked. I let out a breath that I wasn't aware I was holding in this whole time.
