"I'm sorry, wasn't really thinking." Kolton apologizes.

"I know that you weren't thinking. It could have been worse, so I don't really care."

I shake it off, as a plate of food is placed in front of me by an avox. I thank him, and pick up my fork.

"I think you're upset with us." Raina accuses.

I don't know what I feel.
The both of them allied with a pregnant girl could either make or break them. I'm not sure what to do. Although it is weightlifting off my shoulders that Kolton and Raina agreed to ally with one another.

"Upset is an understatement." I blurt quietly, pressing my fingers to my temples.

The rest of dinner is quiet, but as I finish my glass of what they call wine, Raina rises from the table.

"I'm very tired. Goodnight." she announces. Everyone else mumbles a goodnight, and I stop her from walking down the hall any further.

"You will see me again, I promise." I whisper, engulfing her into a hug.

She wraps her arms around me, and the height difference soon makes it awkward. I don't think she cares.

"I'll make you both proud." she tells me, in a hushed tone. She releases me, and I jog to my own room before I let emotions out.

Peeta lays on the bed, reading some book.
I strip of my clothing, putting on short pajama shorts and a tank top.
I crawl onto the mattress next to him, probably too close for his comfort.
Keep your eyes on me, not the book.
I grunt in frustration as he doesn't acknowledge me.

"What's wrong, baby?" he says, flipping one of the pages.

"I want you to kiss me." I whine, stubbornly.

He glances at me, and places his book down on the nightstand, careful not to lose his page.

"You know I can't decline that offer."
he informs, leaning over to press his lips to mine.

I allow myself to heat up our kiss, for I've been longing for one.
He hovers over me slightly, moving his lips to my neck for a moment.

I begin to have my fingers play around with his skintight shirt, and I lift my hand up his stomach before lifting it over his head.

Shortly after, I find myself taking my own shirt off, soon pressing my lips to his jaw.

I reach for his torso, and he stops kissing, to glare at me.

"What's wrong?" I ask, breathlessly.

"Is this you being upset about Raina leaving?"
he asks quietly, but there is seriousness in his tone.

"What? No. Yes, maybe," I trail off my words.

He gives me a look I can't quite read.

"Okay," he eventually gives in.
