Chapter Eighteen

Willingly meeting my sudden increase, Seth wrapped his hands around the small of my waist, and pulled me tighter against his body. 

Gasping  lightly, I snaked my arms  around his neck, and tangled my fingers into his hair, using my strength to pull him even closer to myself. 

A small moment later, Seth ran his tongue along my bottom lip. Fighting to  resist his sweet taste, I kept my mouth shut.

When Seth realized I wasn't going to give into him so easily, he drew his tongue along my lip once more, this time more softly, and nearly made me weak at the knees, but I held my own, and when I refused him once again, I felt him smile against my lips ever so lightly.

"Corey..." He mumbled softly against my lips, sending a shiver down my spine.

Fighting the overwhelming urge to jump his bones in that moment, I slowly pulled my lips further away from his, and sent him a small smile as I stared into his blue eyes, bit into my bottom lip, and shook my head, "I should really be going," I mumbled, as I reached down, and grabbed his hand in mine, squeezing it lightly. 

Seth nodded quickly, and squeezed my hand back softly, as  he slowly began walking us back to the pathway, away from the beautiful wild tulip garden. Once we were back on the pathway, we continued to walk hand in hand, and I couldn't help but smile as we seemed to walk closer and closer to each other every so often.

When we finally came up to his house, Seth led me inside, and straight to the living room where his mother and father sat, extremely close to each other, watching a program on television. "I'm going to walk Corey home," Seth told his parents, drawing both of their attention.

 Staring at our wet clothing confused, Amanda raised an eyebrow questioningly at us while Derek just shook his head, and turned his attention back towards the television. "Now what did you two do to get wet?!" She exclaimed sitting straight up, and turning her body towards us completely.

Feeling a blush rise to my cheeks, I looked down as my dress, and sighed a sigh of relief when I realized that my red undies weren't seen through my drying dress. 

Keeping my gaze down for a moment, I heard Seth chuckle lightly, and instan­­­tly let my eyes drift up towards his smiling face. It was obvious that Seth caught what  I was doing, and I knew he would tease me about it if his parents weren't present. Shaking my head softly, I rolled my eyes, and bit onto my bottom lip as Seth opened his mouth to answer his mothers question.

"We had some trouble at the pond..." He mumbled, obviously not planning on elaborating on it anymore.

Sighing, I shook my head softly, and turned my attention so it fell on Amanda, "Oh there is more to the story then that..." I told her quickly, preparing to explain to her everything, but before I could continue, Seth interrupted.
