The whole way to history Luke was barely paying attention to Michael. He didn't mean to be rude or anything, and he did try to show interest. But he kept fighting the urge to look behind him, for the curly haired boy they past.

There was just something about him. It was so stereotypical, almost like straight out of a fan fiction, but the blonde just couldn't help. Something about the boy, just attracted Luke to him. As if they were two different poles of a magnet. Weird way to describe it perhaps. But that was the only way Luke could put it. Luke was used to being interested in people. As an ambivert, he loved meeting people, and making friends. And enjoyed finding out about the lives of others. But this was different.

He had never spoken to the curly haired boy. He could be a douche for all Luke knew. But a quality he had drew Luke in. Maybe it was the big brown eyes shielded behind his glasses, or the dimples that showed slightly when  he waved at Michael. Whatever it was, it made a flurry of butterflies appear in Luke's stomach.

"Luke?"  a voice pulled him away from his daydream "Luuuuke, you still there?"

Michael prodded his arm, he had zoned out for a moment. Walking with his mouth open slightly, eyes staring at nothing.

"Hm?" Luke answered, shaking hi head a little, "Oh sorry I was daydreaming." He said sheepishly.

Michael chuckled "I could tell,"

The pair reached a classroom, and Michael stopped outside before opening the door.

Luke assumed it to be their History room, so he blindly followed.

It was a big room. With four rows of seats. A two seater table on each side of the rows, and a long table for four in between them.

Just like Luke's science classroom, there were displays of posters that students had made scattered on the walls. Some of the Tudors, some of WW1 or 2 and others of bits and pieces of Australian history. There were two white boards as well, one the simple pen and rubber sought, the other an electric one, he had heard somebody in science call it a smartboard or something like that. He did know.

They didn't have them in his old school. They had a projector sure, but you couldn't write on it. This school was so modern and fancy.

Well, okay, maybe not fancy, but it was so different. From the students, to the teachers, to the way the school looked. Everything. Only the curriculum seemed to be the same. But then again, that was the law.

Luke followed his new pink haired friend to the back, where the teacher, a woman with brown hair in her mid thirties was instructing everyone to go. He decided he really liked Michael. Just like himself, he was super friendly, and Luke wasn't afraid to admit he was attractive. Obviously he was happily taken, and Calum and Michael couldn't make a cuter couple, but the pink haired boy was far from unattractive, it was clear Calum was a lucky guy.

"Let's hope we get good seats," Michael laughed scratching his nose, then said hi to a few other classmates, before the teacher started to talk again.

"Welcome back class!" She exclaimed "For those I haven't taught before," then she spotted Luke, an unfamiliar face "or those that are new to the school, I am Ms Smith, now can you all be quiet while I do the register, I'll assign you a seat as I call your name alright?"

A murmur of "Yeahs." scattered around the classroom,

"Okay, Skyler Abraham?"

A girl with mid length brown hair and braces stepped forward, "Sit over thre please, lovely."
