Here are the boys by the way :))
A pile of comic books fell to the floor as the person, stumbling backwards, moaned and rubbed their face in pain, from behind the locker.
"Fuck." They mumbled, Luke saw them lift their other arm up and rub their face,
Luke blinked rapidly, rubbing his forehead, dazed from what happened, his head sore from the impact to the locker. He was such a klutz, always running and banging into things, as a child he constantly had scraped knees.
"Ahhh," Luke moaned squinting one of his eyes and grimacing, "I see fucking stars." he shook his head and massaged his temples again scrunching his nose. "Sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going, I didn't mean to walk into your locker." he addressed the person behind the open locker door.
"It's okay." he chuckled a little, grabbing the open door and pushed it half shut allowing Luke to see their face, it was Ashton, the boy from history. "At least I wasn't wearing my glasses, I could have gotten glass in my eyes or something! I don't wanna be more blind than I already am. You hit the locker pretty hard."
Luke laughed in response and rubbed the back of his head, "Pretty hard? Pretty hard? I catapulted into it! I'm just surprised my head didn't cave in, I was like a bullet!" he made guns with his hands, and waved them around frantically, "Sorry, I think I had too much sugar cereal this morning."
"It's okay, you made my day more interesting, it was pretty boring until now." Ashton shrugged, he looked down and saw the comics and his bag were still scattered all over the floor, like a small obstacle course around them. Ashton sighed and bent down to pick them all up.
It was lucky it wasn't lunch or break, otherwise all of Ashton's things would have been trampled beyond recognition.
That had happened once or twice at his old school. Luke tripped over his abnormally long legs, dropped something, a pen or two broke it was very sad.
"Shit, lemme help." Luke said, bending down, helping gather Ashton's various strewn around possessions,
"Oh thanks." Ashton said, a little bit taken aback by the action, no offence to the guy, Ashton felt terrible, as he forgot his name, but he seemed a little scatter brained, and didn't think he would realise that Ashton needed a little help. But who was he to judge, the blonde came through and helped him, even though he didn't have to.
"No problem." Luke smiled widely back at him, "It was my fault they were on the floor anyway, I shouldn't have smashed into your locker, and look up when I text-" Luke's eyes widened when realising his phone was no longer in his hand. "Jesus on a boat, where's my phone?" he exclaimed looking around for it, pausing picking up Ashton's comic books.
He saw it lying a few feet away, face down. That wasn't a good sign.
"Oh dear Lordy no." He moaned rushing over to it "Please don't be broken, please don't be broken, my mum will kill me. Please don't be broken."
He picked up the phone carefully. Closing his eyes and holding his breath as he turned it around, begging that the glass hadn't cracked. He had only gotten this one a few weeks ago. It was brand new, maybe not the 6s or 6 as he couldn't really afford it, after buying and breaking endless phones before it. But a 5s.
He broke them so often, his mum said if he broke this one he would go back to a Nokia brick. And well, Luke didn't want that at all.
He turned it over and let out an exasperated sigh of relief when seeing it was still clear of cracks, he wiped it with his thumb, and held it to his chest.
"Thank the Lord, my baby's okay." He sighed.
Ashton chuckled, still kneeling on the floor, pausing gathering up his things, distracted by the blonde boy.
