"Luke you're literally making me dizzy, stop pacing." Alex said with a large yawn.

Michael chuckled, "It's kind of like watching a one player tennis match."

Luke sighed and absent mindedly chewed on the edge of his finger nail on his right thumb, Calum and Ashton were due to arrive any minute "Im sorry I'm nervous, what if it doesn't work?"

Michael looked down and bit his lip, "I really hope it does, I don't want a breakup."

The doorbell rang, Michael shot up to answer it, saying he wanted to talk to Calum, if it was him of course.

But it wasn't, Michael walked back into the small living room, a bewildered looking Ashton trailing behind him.

He thought him and Luke were going to run lines and just chill out together. But Michael was there, so was Luke, but about five other people the other two hung out with also.

"Luke why-" he began, but Luke just pointed up to the messily handwritten, how I met your mother inspired fabric sign;

'INTERVENTION'

"Calum's coming." Luke said bluntly,

Ashton's eyes widened, "Luke-"

Luke put a hand on his shoulder pleadingly "Please don't leave, please."

Ashton just stared at him, his mouth slightly open in disbelief, a look of 'what the fuck' spread on his face.

"We all just want to get along." Charlotte interjected.

"Please Ash," Luke begged "For me?"

He wasn't quite sure why he added the last part, but it seem to work, Ashton's brown eyes softened, and he nodded, placing his hand on Luke's, where it was resting on his shoulder. "Okay."

Luke grinned and hugged the shorter boy tightly, moving from side t side on his feet. It was such a big relief to know Ashton wanted to bring the peace back to their shattered group.

Carla cleared her throat loudly, "You guys can cuddle all you want when we leave but Calum's gonna be here soon."

The two jumped apart awkwardly, both blushing furiously.

As if on cue, the door bell rung,

Michael shot up to let his boyfriend in,

Luke did try not to eavesdrop, but it was hard, he was a nosy person, which was wrong, but Michael had left the door open.

"Hello," He heard Calum's voice say as the front door opened, plus a quick pause, Luke assumed they had a brief hug or kiss.

He heard the door shut and Michael sigh, Luke was glad he was right by the door, otherwise he wouldn't be able to hear them over Carla and Ashton's quiet talking beside him. He really shouldn't be listening in but it wasn't a massive secret reveal or anything.

"Ashton's here Calum." Michael said quickly before his boyfriend entered the living room.

Luke could tell Calum stopped suddenly,

"Mi-" Calum began

Michael cut him off, "Calum I love you so much but this has gone on too long."

"But Mikey, after what happened how-""

"Shh, it's a thing of the past Calum, I've moved on, he's moved on, so should you, and look, him accidentally outing me hasn't affceted us badly has it, if you love me Cal, please try."
