Chapter 1

"And that's a wrap, well done everybody."

The producers and crew said their final goodbyes to Matt before leaving the set and Matt all on his own. Matt sighed to himself and looked around the set one last time, knowing that he will miss this place. As he walked around the set he heard small sniffles coming from a corridor, he followed them and saw Jenna crying in a corner with Karen beside her trying to cheer her up. He snuck up behind the two of them and wrapped his arms around Jenna. She flinched at first but soon loosened up into the hug, she turned around and gave him a faint smile.

"I'll er leave you guys alone for a minuet, I'll see you tonight Jen?" Jenna nodded to Karen as she walked off leaving the two of them alone. Matt looked down at Jenna and gave her a faint smile which she returned.

"I'll miss you Coleman."

"I'll miss you too Smith." She spoke shakily and fiddled with the rings on her hand before biting her nails.

"Don't worry Jenna. Peter's a good guy and I'm sure he'll look after you" Jenna wiped the stray tears away from her face and put on a fake smile.

"I know but, I'll still miss you." Matt pulled her into a hug and rubbed her back in an attempt to calm her. Jenna pulled out of the hug and tried to talk but tears threatened to fall again. She walked past him and made her way for the door, she turned round once more and had her final glance at Matt.

"Goodbye chin." She mumbled to herself as she wiped away the tears whilst leaving the set.

Jenna's POV:

I walked up the steps to my apartment wiping my face with my hands to remove the falling tears. I turned my keys into the apartment door and gave it a light nudge making it swing open, I step inside it and closed it with my foot before breaking down into tears and sliding down the door.

"Are you okay Jen?" I looked up to see my roommate Jodie.

"Uh y-yeah. I-I'm fine." I looked back down at my feet and wiped my eyes once again.

"Well Amanda and I are going out for a drink now if you'd like to come?" I shook my head in response before slowly standing up and walking past her to get to my room. I sat down on my bed and stared at the photo frame on my bedside table, it was a picture of me and Matt messing around after taking a break from filming. As I lay there starting to fall asleep my phone starts to buzz. I picked it up to check the message

'From Kazza  🌚
You still on for coffee later? xx'

I smiled faintly as I type back to her

'To Kazza 🌚
Sure, I'll see you at the corner in 20 minutes xx'

I stood up from my bed and walked into the bathroom to check my makeup. I took my makeup off and washed my face as it was all smudged from crying, I quickly tied my hair up into a messy bun and I walked back into my room and to my wardrobe, I picked out a pair of black skinny jeans, black pumps, a black T-shirt and a floral cardigan. I quickly changed and put on a pair of sunglasses before picking up my handbag and phone and leaving my apartment.

As I turned the street corner I saw a familiar face sitting down outside my favourite coffee shop, I walk towards them and sit down.

"Hey! How are you feeling?" I lifted my sunglasses up to the top of my head and smiled.

"I'm fine thanks, how are you Kaz?"

"I'm good, I've ordered your favourite. A chocolate soufflé with a small cappuccino"

"Thank you."

"So tell me, have you met the new doctor yet?" Karen gave me a warm smile as she took a sip from her coffee I smiled back and took a small spoonful of my soufflé.

"Yeah I met him a few weeks back, he's really nice and we get on well"

"That's good to hear, I can't wait to see it! So uh Arthur is having a party tomorrow night at his place and he was wondering if you would like to come?" I fiddled with my fingers and gently smiled at Karen.

"I uh don't know, I don't feel like partying" Karen's smile faded as she took another Sip from her coffee.

"Ah come on, Matts going to be there so you'll get to see him one more time."

"That's just the thing I don't want to see him one more time, I don't think I'll be able to"

"Why, has something happened between you two?"

"N-no it's just - don't worry"

"Jen?" She gave me a faint smile

"It's just that, well... I sorta like him."
