Jenna's POV:
A week had past since Arthur's party and I still hadn't spoken to Matt. I was in my room packing my suitcase for comic con when my phone went off, I picked it up and saw it was Matt trying to call me. I quickly declined his call and continued packing. My phone carried on buzzing as Matt continued to call and text me. After 5 minutes he gave up, I sat down on my bed and sighed looking at his text messages
'Jen please pick up, I'm sorry! I didn't mean to upset you x'
'common answer me, your worrying me. Karen said you haven't spoken to her since the party! x'
'Please Jen, I'm so sorry and I can't stand seeing you like this'
I sighed to myself as I heard the doorbell go off, I stood up and left my room to answer it.
"Hey Jenna, can we talk?" I looked up to see Lily standing there.
"I'm not really in the mood for talking Lily"
"please Jenna, I can explain everything!"
"why should I trust you Lily? I know what happened between you and Richard." I crossed my arms and sighed
"I didn't mean t-"
"what you didn't mean to sleep with my boyfriend?" Lily looked down at her feet
"I'm sorry Jenna, honestly. I really want to make things right between us!"
"Then leave me alone." I sighed and shut the door in Lily's face as tears filled my eyes again. I walked into my room and sat back down on my bed trying to calm myself down. Lily had been my friend for years and we were really close, but that all changed when I was dating Richard. She always flirted with him and in the end they slept with each other - which I had only found out about a few weeks back.

A couple of hours had passed and I was getting my coat on when my taxi pulled up outside my apartment, I hugged Jodie goodbye before wheeling my suitcase outside and putting it in the boot of the taxi. I got into the taxi and pulled my phone and headphones out of my pocket to watch some stuff I had downloaded. After an hour I arrived at the airport. I paid the driver the money before getting out and getting my suitcase.
Once I had checked in my flight and handed my suitcase over my phone stared to buzz again. I took it out of my pocket to see Matt texting me.
"Hey Coleman, are you still coming to comic con? xx" I sighed and placed my phone back in my pocket before making my way to board the plane.
I pulled a book out of my bag before placing it in the bag holder before sitting down in my seat. Someone sat down next to me and pulled their phone out, I glanced over to see it was Matt. I looked back at my book and ignored him throughout the flight.

Once the plane had landed I packed my book in my bag and made my way off the plane. As I was walking someone's hand grabbed mine forcing me to turn round to face them. Unfortunately for me it was Matt. I instantly looked down at my feet and sighed.
"Jen, look at me" He placed his hand under my chin and lifted my head up to meet his. "I'm so sorry Jen, I messed everything up and I don't want to lose you. Your my best friend Jen and I miss you"
"I don't want to talk about this Matt, I'm not upset about it. Can we just forget this?"
"but there's something else bothering you and I know it. Please tell me Jen, I want to make it up to you"
"please Matt, I really don't want to talk about it" I wiped the tears forming in my eyes and walked away leaving him alone.

Hey guys, sorry it's a short chapter I couldn't think of anything to add to it 😂 But the next chapter will be longer and better, along with more drama 😏
