Aura's Tail. {Aphmau Fanfic}

Chapter 2: Meet and Greet.

The shrill sound of the fiddle rang in Aura's ears. She was sitting on a bench, in a plaza of Phoenix Drop. The scent of blueberries wafted up from the warm basket on Aura's lap. So many people... how will I find them...? Aura thought. After spending a week recuperating in the tower, Aura was glad to get out. And, the Summer Festival was the place to do just that. Hmm... I've been stuck up in that tower. I have no idea who anybody here is... well, excluding Jade, Charlotte, Aphmau and Donna... kinda... Aura was lost in her thoughts, and didn't notice someone saying her name. "Hello? Hello? Earth to kitty-cat!" said a man from last night. Aura snapped back to reality, and looked up into his crystal-blue eyes. "Hi! I'm Laurence. Jade sent me over to get you." he said, flashing a smile. "O-Oh... uh, okay." Aura replied, standing and grabbing the basket. She let out a mental sigh of relief, now she's found them. Laurence raised an eyebrow at her basket, but gave a shrug. He waved his hand in a 'Follow me' motion. Aura walked behind Laurence silently, and watched as he waved at the people, again flashing his smile. How is he so friendly...? So open...? Maybe, he's just an extrovert... Aura found herself lost in thoughts again. She didn't notice Laurence stop, and she ran into his back. "Are you okay?" Laurence asked, turning towards Aura. The impact didn't seem to even phase Laurence, probably the fact he's a foot and a half taller. "Oh! I'm sorry. Just lost in thought... again..." Aura said, feeling her face turn red. "Oh, no worries! I do that a lot too..." Laurence replied. "Aura!" squealed a familiar voice. Aura was practically tackled by a furry object. "You made it! Oh, you look soooooo pretty!" Charlotte fawned. "Thanks. Donna stole this outfit from Cadenza..." Aura said with a giggle. "That sounds like her!" said Aphmau. "Oh! First of all, Laurence, thanks for leading me over here. Secondly, Aphmau, I made you something... a thank you gift." Aura said offering the basket. "Oooooooooo..." Aphmau said taking it, and peeking under the lid. She closed it, and inhaled deeply. "BLUEBERRY PIE!!!" Aphmau screamed. "Levin, Malachi! Get over here and help me eat this in ten minutes!" Aphmau yelled. Suddenly, two little boys popped up. "YEAH!" they cheered in unison. The group stood chatting, and laughing, Aura didn't notice a white-haired man standing behind her. Aura suddenly felt something... pinch her butt. "KYAAAAA!!!" Aura screamed and jumped in the air. Aphmau looked up from the pie, her face covered in blue. "Travis!" Garroth yelled. "We talked about this! No touching lady's butts!" Laurence said, slapping his forehead. "You pervert! Not only is that an invasion of my privacy, and personal space, it can be taken as sexual harassment! You dare do that again I will KILL YOU! This is my body and if any man touches it without my permission, it's bad news for them!" Aura yelled at Travis, her face turning a brighter red by the second. "Now, for your information, I'm not interested in any relationships right now, so back off! And, finally, get a hair-cut... you look ridiculous." Aura said as her face cooled down. "Fine, back to bugging Katelyn... But, it was totally worth it!" Travis added. "Travis, how about enjoying the festival instead of touching other people's bodies..." Jade
